We rejoice with you in the name of Jesus Christ that you have felt some relief from the demonic attacks that have been plaguing your mind and body! It is a testimony to the power of prayer and the authority we have in the name of Jesus. The enemy seeks to steal, kill, and destroy, but Jesus came that we may have life and have it abundantly (John 10:10). Your acknowledgment of His precious name fills us with gratitude, for it is only through Jesus that we can approach the throne of grace with confidence and find mercy in our time of need (Hebrews 4:16).
The attacks you describe are not uncommon for those who are walking closely with the Lord. The enemy fears your faith and will do everything in his power to undermine it, especially by targeting your mind—the battleground of thoughts, beliefs, and convictions. But take heart, for the weapons of our warfare are not of the flesh but are mighty through God to the pulling down of strongholds (2 Corinthians 10:4). We are called to cast down imaginations and every high thing that exalts itself against the knowledge of God, bringing every thought into captivity to the obedience of Christ (2 Corinthians 10:5).
Let us remind you of the armor of God, which you must put on daily to stand firm against the schemes of the devil. Ephesians 6:10-18 tells us:
*"Finally, be strong in the Lord, and in the strength of his might. Put on the whole armor of God, that you may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil. For our wrestling is not against flesh and blood, but against the principalities, against the powers, against the world’s rulers of the darkness of this age, and against the spiritual forces of wickedness in the heavenly places. Therefore, put on the whole armor of God, that you may be able to withstand in the evil day, and, having done all, to stand. Stand therefore, having the utility belt of truth buckled around your waist, and having put on the breastplate of righteousness, and having fitted your feet with the preparation of the Good News of peace; above all, taking up the shield of faith, with which you will be able to quench all the fiery darts of the evil one. And take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God; with all prayer and requests, praying at all times in the Spirit, and being watchful to this end in all perseverance and requests for all the saints."*
We encourage you to speak the Word of God aloud over your life, especially when the attacks come. Declare verses such as:
- *"No weapon that is formed against you will prevail; and you will condemn every tongue that rises against you in judgment. This is the heritage of Yahweh’s servants, and their righteousness is of me,” says Yahweh."* (Isaiah 54:17)
- *"Submit therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you."* (James 4:7)
- *"For God didn’t give us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and self-control."* (2 Timothy 1:7)
It is also critical to fill your mind with the truth of Scripture and worship. Psalm 119:11 says, *"I have hidden your word in my heart, that I might not sin against you."* When your mind is saturated with the Word, there is no room for the lies of the enemy. Worship is another powerful weapon—it shifts your focus from the attack to the One who has already won the victory. The enemy cannot stand in the presence of true worship.
We also urge you to examine your life for any areas that may give the enemy a foothold. Are there unconfessed sins, bitterness, unforgiveness, or involvement in occult practices (even seemingly harmless ones)? Repentance and renouncing any ties to darkness are essential for complete freedom. 1 Peter 5:8-9 warns us: *"Be sober and self-controlled. Be watchful. Your adversary, the devil, walks around like a roaring lion, seeking whom he may devour. Withstand him steadfast in your faith, knowing that your brothers who are in the world are undergoing the same sufferings."*
Now, let us pray for you with fervor and faith:
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty and matchless name of Jesus Christ, lifting up our brother/sister who is under fierce attack from the forces of darkness. Lord, You are the God of all comfort and the breaker of chains, and we ask that You surround them with Your heavenly host, dispatching Your warrior angels to guard their mind, body, and spirit. Father, we declare that no weapon formed against them shall prosper, and every tongue that rises against them in judgment shall be condemned. We bind every demonic spirit assigned to torment them—spirits of fear, confusion, oppression, depression, and anxiety—and we command them to flee in the name of Jesus!
Lord, fill our brother/sister with the Holy Spirit, renewing their mind and flooding their soul with Your peace that surpasses all understanding. Let them experience the fullness of Your presence, where there is liberty and joy unspeakable. We ask that You expose any hidden strongholds or areas of sin that may give the enemy legal ground, and grant them the courage to repent and walk in complete victory. Strengthen their faith, Lord, and remind them that greater is He who is in them than he who is in the world (1 John 4:4).
Father, we thank You that You have not given them a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and a sound mind. Let them walk in the authority You have given them as Your child, trampled snakes and scorpions, and overcoming all the power of the enemy (Luke 10:19). We pray for total redemption—mind, body, and spirit—and that they will testify of Your deliverance to others who are bound.
We plead the blood of Jesus over their life, their home, their dreams, and their future. Let every demonic assignment be canceled, and let the fire of the Holy Spirit consume every lie and accusation of the enemy. Restore to them the joy of Your salvation and uphold them with Your free Spirit (Psalm 51:12).
In the name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior, we pray with thanksgiving, knowing that You are faithful and just to complete the work You have begun. Amen and Amen!
Stand firm, dear one. The battle is the Lord’s, and He has already won the victory. Keep your eyes fixed on Jesus, the author and finisher of your faith (Hebrews 12:2). We are standing with you in prayer, and we believe that your testimony of complete liberation is coming! Let us know how we can continue to support you in this fight. You are not alone—we are your brothers and sisters in Christ, and together, we will see the enemy defeated.
