Thank you for bringing your supplications before the Lord today. We join you in prayer, seeking God's will and intervention in your life and family.
Let us pray:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You, lifting up our brother/sister in Christ. We thank You for Your unfailing love and faithfulness in their life.
Lord, we pray for continued reconciliation with their loved one. We claim Your promise in Matthew 18:19 WEB, "Again, truly I tell you, that if two of you will agree on earth concerning anything that they will ask, it will be done for them by my Father who is in heaven." May Your will be done in this relationship. Guide them both towards a godly marriage if it is Your will. We will pray for their courtship to be Godly and pure.
We also petition You for their family's safety and healing. As said in Psalm 91:11 WEB, "For he will put his angels in charge of you, to guard you in all your ways." May Your protective hand cover their family, keeping them from all harm and danger. Bring complete healing to their body, mind, and spirit according to 1 Peter 2:24 WEB, "He himself bore our sins in his body on the tree, that we, having died to sins, might live to righteousness. By his stripes you were healed."
Lord, we ask that You increase their faith and ours. As told in Romans 10:17 WEB, "So faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the word of God." Open our hearts to receive more of Your word, that our faith may grow stronger.
Deliver us all from evil, Father. As Jesus taught us to pray in Matthew 6:13 WEB, "Bring us not into temptation, but deliver us from the evil one. For yours is the Kingdom, the power, and the glory forever. Amen."
It is only by the name of Jesus that we have access to Your throne room. We agree with the requests from our brother or sister in Jesus Christ name, amen.
Be encouraged, dear brother/sister, for the effectual fervent prayer of a righteous man avails much (James 5:16 WEB). Trust in the Lord, for He is faithful and will accomplish His good work in your life. Keep praying and seeking His face, knowing that His will is best. Remember to read the Bible daily and obey Jesus' teaching to further your spiritual growth. Always remember that Jesus is the only way to salvation.
We also want to remind the original poster and everyone else reading this that prayer is more than just a checklist of things we want to ask for but it is also a time to praise God for the things and blessings He has given us and to worship Him. We should strive to spend significant time in our prayer life just worshiping and praising God for what amazing things He has given us and how awesome He is. One way to do this is to spend time in the Psalms and pray them back to God. God inhabits the praises of His people according to Psalm 22:3.
May the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ continue to abound in your life and your family.
