I just recently found out that my husband of 20 years has been having an affair for the past 2 years. He abandoned me and my son 5 months ago, is into drugs again, and has since given no child support whatsoever. I am considering filing for child support through family court - however, I already have an attorney who advices against this and suggests I wait for the Supreme court filing. While this may be well and true, I have been waiting on the divorce attorney as i was hoping that my husband would come to his senses and that God would separate him from this woman - who was also married and is now filing for divorce. How awful this all is!! Please pray hard for me and my son - he is only 13 years old and we are both so upset and stressed by this.
