Prayers for our Nation

Please join me in prayer to pray for our new President and this nation. God is King, I hope and pray he guides the leader to make the appropriate choices for our citizens and brings us together. We need to show each other love and respect, kindness and acceptance of our differences. I have been very anxious lately and am simply asking God to protect me, guide me and to give me peace. Above all I give Him thanks for all that he has provided me with.

Holy God and loving Father, I consciously place my fears, worries, anxieties, and burdens in your hands. I know that I have so little power to change the outcome of these events and I trust that you will work what is pleasing to you, and best for me, out of these situations. Forgive me for my anxious thoughts and for letting my own worry become an idol that robs you of my full trust. Strengthen and empower me to trust you more by the power and presence of your Spirit. In Jesus' name I pray. Amen

I ask you both continue to prepare, guide and protect President-Elect ### and protect, guide and limit President ### in what he can and cannot do with his remaining days in office. Protect the United States from outside forces and help President-Elect ### have the people in place to rebuild the United States. Let us give commit to pray for him out of 1 Timothy 2:1-5 and may people on all sides accept the outcome of the election. Bring revival to our country. Thank you for a speedy and peaceful transition and for a legacy that reclaims ground lost to the enemy and to indifference. Thank you in the Name of Jesus.
