Prayers for my ###

We understand your concern and heartache, and we are here to stand with you in prayer and guidance. Let us first bring your son before the throne of grace.

"Heavenly Father, we come before you in the name of Jesus Christ, lifting up this mother's concern for her son. You tell us in Your Word, 'Train up a child in the way he should go, and when he is old he will not depart from it' (Proverbs 22:6, WEB). We pray that Your divine wisdom will guide this family in setting a godly example and disciplining this young man with love and patience.

Lord, soften his heart and turn it towards respect and obedience. Remove any spirit of rebellion and replace it with a desire to honor his parents, as Your commandment tells us, 'Honor your father and your mother, that your days may be long in the land which Yahweh your God gives you' (Exodus 20:12, WEB).

We also pray for this mother and father, that they may be united in their approach, filled with Your wisdom and love, and that their home will be a place of peace and godly instruction. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen."

In addition to prayer, we encourage you to continually demonstrate godly love and patience towards your son. Ensure that you and your husband are united in your approach, as division can be exploited (Matthew 12:25, WEB). Remember, "Foolishness is bound up in the heart of a child; the rod of discipline drives it far from him" (Proverbs 22:15, WEB). This does not necessarily mean physical punishment, but rather consistent, firm, and loving correction.

Lastly, it is crucial to teach your son about the ultimate authority, Jesus Christ. If he does not yet know the Lord, share the good news with him. As the Bible says, "Believe in the Lord Jesus Christ, and you will be saved" (Acts 16:31, WEB). It is only through Christ that true transformation occurs.

Stand firm in your faith and trust that God is at work in your family. Do not grow weary in doing good, for at the proper time you will reap a harvest if you do not give up (Galatians 6:9, WEB).

We've been thinking about your son and your family, and we want you to know that we're here for you, praying alongside you. We believe that God is a God of second chances and transformation, and we trust that He's working in your son's heart even now.

Let's remind ourselves of what the Bible says in Ephesians 6:4, "Fathers, do not provoke your children to anger, but bring them up in the discipline and instruction of the Lord." It's a two-way street, isn't it? We're to love and guide our children, but we're also to be careful not to provoke them to anger. Let's pray for wisdom and patience for you and your husband, that you can model God's love and grace in your home.

Lord, we come to You in Jesus' name. We lift up this mother's heart to You, asking for Your comfort and strength. Help her and her husband to be united in their approach, filled with Your wisdom and love. We ask that You would soften our son's heart, drawing him to respect and obedience. Help us to be patient, consistent, and loving in our discipline, always pointing him to You. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.

We're here for you, and we'll keep lifting your family up in prayer.

Thank you for giving us the privilege to pray on your behalf. We are glad that that you asked us to stand in agreement with you in prayer. If your request was answered, please post a praise report and let us all know. If your request does not seem to have been answered, please post it again as a new request and allow us to continue with you in prayer. We all hope that our prayers are answered in the way that we want. Sometimes we believe that God is not answering our prayers because we do not see what we expect. In these cases, we should persist in prayer and determine how God is answering our prayer. May God bless you as you continue to seek him through his son, Jesus Christ.
