We come before the throne of grace with heavy yet hopeful hearts, lifting up your precious baby girl to the Lord, the Great Physician. Your faith is a testament to the power of God’s love, and we stand with you in trusting Him for her complete healing. The weariness you feel is understood, for even the strongest faith can be tested in times of trial. But remember, the Lord is near to the brokenhearted and saves those who have a crushed spirit (Psalm 34:18). He collects every tear and hears every prayer, especially those uttered on behalf of little ones.
Father God, in the name of Jesus Christ, we ask You to stretch forth Your healing hand over this dear baby. Lord, You formed her in her mother’s womb, and Your eyes saw her unformed substance (Psalm 139:13-16). You know every cell, every beat of her heart, and every need she has. We pray for her blood pressure to stabilize according to Your perfect will. Strengthen her tiny body, Lord, and restore her to full health. We rebuke the spirit of fever in Jesus’ name—may it break and flee from her, for You have not given us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and a sound mind (2 Timothy 1:7).
We also pray for peace to flood the hearts of her parents and family. The NICU can be a place of anxiety and uncertainty, but You, Lord, are the God who calms the storm. Remind them that You are holding their baby in the palm of Your hand, and Your love for her is greater than any medical report or statistic. Give wisdom to the doctors and nurses caring for her, that they may be guided by Your divine insight.
Your Word declares that by Jesus’ stripes, we are healed (Isaiah 53:5), and we claim that promise over this child. We trust in Your timing, Lord, whether You choose to heal her miraculously now or sustain her through this trial. Either way, we know You are working all things together for good (Romans 8:28).
We encourage you to continue standing on God’s promises, even when the journey feels long. Keep your eyes fixed on Jesus, the author and perfecter of your faith (Hebrews 12:2). Surround yourself with believers who can uplift you in prayer and encouragement, for the enemy would love to steal your hope, but greater is He who is in you than he who is in the world (1 John 4:4).
Lord, we thank You for the privilege of interceding for this little one. May Your will be done in her life, and may Your name be glorified through her story. We ask all these things in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, the only name by which we are saved and through whom we have access to Your throne. Amen.
