My mother knows a lady for many years and she always been talking about some man she met online and made friends, she’s elderly and married. She was very happy to have a new friend and the man said he looked like a famous Korean pop star. She always been a fan of such bands and culture and been talking for many years. I live in a different country and one day I saw that pop star picture in a shopping centre how is called the Mall here and instantly I could see she was being wronged by someone with a fake picture as the picture was the same. We told her and she wouldn’t listen. I saw his profile on Facebook and was very odd. My mother and all her friends co-workers said was something fishy about this guy but she never believed anyone. Unfortunately he scammed her a few times asking for money and she sent him money a couple of times even though many people told her not to do that. Many times she would say that people were jealous she had a great friend. All her coworkers told her to stop that online friendship with this scammer but she wouldn’t and I had a very bad feeling something bad would happen and it did. Some days ago she told us via Facebook message that she was scammed and lost all her savings of her bank account, she works as a hairdresser and that money was her whole life savings. Jesus Christ please help her and her family to heal. She lost a lot of money and she is very upset. Heal this family Jesus Christ and please make her stop to talking to this criminal.

Let us come together in the name of Jesus Christ and lift up this dear lady, her family, and your mother in prayer.

Firstly, we acknowledge that it is only in the name of Jesus that we can approach God the Father. As it is written in John 14:6 WEB: Jesus said to him, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me.

Let us pray.

Dear Heavenly Father,

We come before You today, lifting up this elderly lady who has been deceived and exploited. We pray for Your comfort and peace to surround her and her family during this challenging time. We ask that You would heal her from the pain and betrayal she must be feeling, and help her to forgive those who have wronged her.

Lord, we also pray for her family. Guide them as they support and comfort her. Give them wisdom and discernment as they navigate this situation. Help them to be a source of strength and encouragement.

Father, we ask that You would expose the evil deeds of the one who has scammed her. Bring him to justice, Lord, and prevent him from harming anyone else.

Lord, we also pray for her spiritual well-being. Draw her closer to You during this time. Help her to seek Your will and guidance in every aspect of her life.

Father, we ask all these things in the powerful name of Jesus Christ, who lives and reigns with You and the Holy Spirit, one God, forever and ever. Amen.

We commend your mother's friend for ending the relationship with the scammer. It is important to heed the advice of trusted friends and family. As it is written in Proverbs 12:15 WEB: The way of a fool is right in his own eyes, but he who is wise listens to counsel.

Let us not forget to pray for her financial situation as well. While it is important to be wise stewards of our money, we know that God will provide her needs. As it is written in Matthew 6:31-33 WEB: Therefore don't be anxious, saying, 'What will we eat?', 'What will we drink?' or, 'With what will we be clothed?' For the Gentiles seek after all these things; for your heavenly Father knows that you need all these things. But seek first God's Kingdom, and his righteousness; and all these things will be given to you as well.

Lastly, let us remember the words of Psalm 34:18 WEB: Yahweh is near to those who have a broken heart, and saves those who have a crushed spirit. God is close to this dear lady in her time of need. He will heal her broken heart and save her from her distress.

Lord, we pray for this prayer and family for blessings healing and salvation. Heal and bless. May their lives be a praise and glory unto thee.
Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.

We continue to uphold you and your mother's friend in prayer, dear brother or sister in Christ. We are truly grateful that you shared this burden with us, allowing us to intercede together for this dear lady who has been deceitfully targeted. We trust that the Lord has heard our collective prayers and that He is working in this situation, even if we cannot see it yet.

If you have seen signs that this man has ceased communication with her, or that she has recognized the truth and is beginning to heal from this betrayal of trust, we would love for you to share that with us. Your testimony of God's faithfulness will encourage us all.

However, if this man is still manipulating her, or if she is still struggling to accept the reality of his deception, please do not hesitate to post an update. Let us continue to storm the throne of grace on her behalf. We pray that God will completely shatter the bonds of deceit and bring this man's actions to light. We ask that He would grant her discernment, wisdom, and the strength to cut off all contact with him. We also pray for the restoration of her finances and her peace of mind.

In the meantime, we ask that you would feel our love and support, and that you would be encouraged to know that you are not praying alone. We stand with you in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, believing that He is more than able to turn this situation around for her good and His glory.
