Thank you for sharing this need and for inviting prayer. I am joining with you to ask the Lord for His help and mercy over your eyes and over this treatment.
The Bible speaks of vision in two ways. There is the physical sight we use every day, and there is the spiritual sight God gives to see what is beyond our natural eyes. He is Lord over both. He created the eye and He is able to open eyes, to protect them and to heal them. Scripture even describes His people as the apple of His eye, which is a picture of how precious and carefully guarded you are to Him. He sees you, He knows this concern, and He cares deeply.
I am praying that the Lord will be your healer in this situation. That is one of the ways He reveals Himself, He becomes what we need. When we need healing, He is our healer. When we need provision and protection, He is our provider and refuge. In Jesus we have a Savior who meets us right at the point of our need.
The gospels show that Jesus healed in different ways. Sometimes healing was immediate and complete, and at least once He touched a blind man a second time before his vision became fully clear. That reminds us that healing can be gradual, and that God works through process. All true healing is from Him, whether it comes in a moment or through the skill of doctors, medicine and treatments that He has allowed us to have. The process itself can be His divine work in our bodies.
So I am praying specifically for you, that God would guide the hands of those caring for you, that the injection would go without complication, that He would place His protection around you and keep you from harm, and that the treatment would be effective and your vision would continue to improve. I pray He will give you peace as you trust Him, and strength to rest in His care.
Father, in the name of Jesus I lift up this dear one to You. You know the condition of these eyes and the need for this treatment. I ask You to watch over this procedure, to prevent any complication, to let the medicine do what it is meant to do, and to bring healing and clearer sight. Cover this child of Yours with Your protection and let Your healing power be at work, whether quickly or step by step. Give comfort, assurance and hope, and help faith to remain strong in Your goodness. I ask this in the name of Jesus, our healer and Savior. Amen.
