Prayers for my ### healing

Disciple of Prayer
My daughter ### ### is diagnosed with a tumor in her pelvic area and they found things in her lymph nodes. We do not know to what extent until Tuesday. ### she had ovarian cancer. Praise for her daughter ### and me her mother ###.

We lift our hearts together in deep concern and faith as we come before the Lord on behalf of your precious daughter and you, her devoted mother. This is a heavy burden to carry, and we stand with you in prayer, trusting in the Great Physician who holds all life in His hands. The uncertainty of waiting for test results can feel overwhelming, but we know that God is not bound by medical reports or timelines—He is the God who heals, comforts, and sustains.

First, we want to acknowledge the praise you’ve offered for your daughter and yourself. Gratitude in the midst of trial is a powerful act of faith, and we join you in giving thanks to God for His faithfulness, even when the path ahead is unclear. The Bible tells us in 1 Thessalonians 5:18, *"In everything give thanks, for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus toward you."* Your praise is a testimony to your trust in Him, and we pray that this attitude of worship will continue to strengthen you both.

We also want to gently address the mention of "###" in your request. While we understand the desire for privacy, we must remind you that our prayers are lifted up in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, for there is no other name under heaven by which we can be saved (Acts 4:12). It is only through faith in Jesus that we have access to the Father and the power to intercede with boldness. If you or your daughter have not placed your trust in Him, we urge you to consider the words of John 3:16-17: *"For God so loved the world, that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish, but have eternal life. For God didn’t send his Son into the world to judge the world, but that the world should be saved through him."* Salvation is found in no one else, and it is our deepest prayer that you both would know the peace and hope that comes from a personal relationship with Jesus.

Now, we turn our hearts fully to the Lord in prayer for your daughter’s healing:

Heavenly Father, we come before You with heavy hearts, yet with faith in Your unfailing love and power. Lord, we lift up this dear daughter to You, asking for Your healing touch to be upon her. You are the God who formed her in her mother’s womb (Psalm 139:13-14), and You know every cell in her body. We ask that You would shrink and remove this tumor, cleanse her lymph nodes, and restore her to full health. Father, we declare that by Your stripes, she is healed (Isaiah 53:5), and we stand on Your promise that You are able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think (Ephesians 3:20).

Lord, we also pray for wisdom and clarity for the doctors and medical team treating her. Guide their hands, their minds, and their decisions, that they would be instruments of Your healing. Give them discernment to understand the full extent of what is happening in her body and the best path forward for her care.

For this mother, Father, we ask that You would wrap Your arms of comfort around her. Strengthen her when she feels weak, give her peace when anxiety threatens to overwhelm her, and fill her with hope as she waits for answers. Remind her that You are her refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble (Psalm 46:1). Help her to cast all her cares upon You, for You care for her (1 Peter 5:7).

We also pray for the rest of the family, Lord. This is a trial that affects everyone, and we ask that You would bind them together in love and unity. Give them the grace to support one another, to speak words of life and encouragement, and to trust in You even when the road is difficult.

Father, we rebuke the spirit of fear in this situation. We declare that perfect love casts out fear (1 John 4:18), and Your love is perfect. We refuse to let fear dictate our emotions or our faith. Instead, we choose to trust in You, knowing that You work all things together for good for those who love You and are called according to Your purpose (Romans 8:28).

Lord, we also ask that You would use this trial for Your glory. If there are areas in this family’s life where You are calling them to draw closer to You, reveal those to them. Use this time to deepen their faith, to refine their trust in You, and to draw others to Yourself through their testimony. May Your name be lifted high through this situation, and may many come to know You as a result.

Finally, Father, we thank You for hearing our prayers. We thank You for Your faithfulness, Your mercy, and Your love. We trust You with this daughter’s life, knowing that You are good and that Your plans for her are for good and not for harm, to give her a future and a hope (Jeremiah 29:11). We declare Your promises over her life and ask that You would move mightily on her behalf.

In the precious and powerful name of Jesus Christ, we pray. Amen.

As you wait for Tuesday’s results, we encourage you to hold fast to God’s Word. Meditate on Scriptures like Psalm 30:2, *"Lord my God, I called to you for help, and you healed me,"* and Jeremiah 30:17, *"For I will restore health to you, and I will heal you of your wounds, says the Lord."* God is not distant from your pain—He is near to the brokenhearted (Psalm 34:18), and He collects every one of your tears (Psalm 56:8). Lean on Him, and allow others to support you in prayer and practical ways.

We also encourage you to surround yourself with a community of believers who can stand with you in faith. James 5:14-15 says, *"Is any among you sick? Let him call for the elders of the church, and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord; and the prayer of faith will heal him who is sick, and the Lord will raise him up."* If you have not already, consider reaching out to your local church or trusted believers to pray over your daughter and to walk alongside you during this time.

Remember, too, that God’s timing is perfect. Even when the wait feels unbearable, He is working behind the scenes in ways we cannot see. Trust in His character—He is loving, He is just, and He is sovereign. Proverbs 3:5-6 reminds us, *"Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and don’t lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will direct your paths."*

Lastly, we want to gently encourage you to examine your own heart and your daughter’s heart before the Lord. If there are areas of sin, unforgiveness, or unconfessed struggles, bring them to God in repentance. James 5:16 says, *"Confess your offenses to one another, and pray for one another, that you may be healed. The insistent prayer of a righteous person is powerfully effective."* Healing—both spiritual and physical—is often connected to our obedience and our willingness to surrender fully to God.

We will continue to stand in faith with you, believing for a miracle and trusting God for His perfect will. May He fill you with His peace that surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:7) and give you strength for each day. You are not alone in this battle.

We're right here with you, dear friend, holding you and your daughter up in prayer. We've been thinking about you both and wanted to reach out with some more encouragement and prayer.

First, we want to remind you that God is always with you, even in the waiting. Psalm 34:18 tells us, "The Lord is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit." He sees your daughter's struggle, and He's right there with her, with you both. Trust in His unfailing love and care.

We also want to encourage you to keep your eyes fixed on Jesus. Hebrews 12:2 says, "For the joy that was set before him [Jesus] endured the cross, scorning its shame, and sat down at the right hand of the throne of God." Jesus understands suffering, and He's interceding for your daughter right now. Keep your gaze on Him, and let His love and strength fill you both.

In addition to our prayers, we want to remind you to keep your heart open to the Holy Spirit's promptings. Sometimes, God uses trials to draw us closer to Him, to refine our faith, and to reveal areas in our lives that need His healing touch. Be open to His gentle whispers and allow Him to work in your hearts.

We're also here to support you in any way we can. If there's anything you need, whether it's a listening ear, a word of encouragement, or practical help, please don't hesitate to reach out. We're a community of believers, and we're here for you.

Lastly, we want to leave you with this promise from 2 Corinthians 12:9, "My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness." God's grace is enough for your daughter, and it's enough for you too. Trust in His power, and let His strength be made perfect in your weakness.

We love you both, and we're believing for a miracle. Keep fighting the good fight, and remember that you're not alone. We're standing with you, praying for you, and cheering you on every step of the way.

In Jesus' mighty name, we pray. Amen.
