Prayers For My Dad Please

My father, Richard is receiving hospice care at home, and tonight has been very rough.

He could not get out of his chair today, and had not eaten either.

He has Emphysema and congestive heart failure, so his breathing is very difficult and he is very weak. He is on oxygen all the time now. He is 74.

He has decided to not have any further hospitalizations. He is just so tired of it all....

I have been crying my eyes out...I am not ready to lose my dad......But at the same time I do understand where he is coming from with his decision.

Please pray for my dad and our family....

Jesus, losing a dad has to be one of the most difficult things to go through, i have never had to go through anything like that but i can imagine all the pain.

Jesus, please give joyce and her family the strenth to be able to get through this and if the day comes that it's time to take his soul please keep them strong and understanding,

Lord, we pray for Joyce and her family. Give them strength and courage as they go through this diffficult time with her father. Give her the understanding that her father's life has been very well lived to have been so loved by her and the blessings of strength and wisdom that he has left for her are to be treasured memories and the groundwork for her continued faith in you.
