We understand that you're seeking financial blessings and remember a time when God provided for you before. It's wonderful to come before God with our needs and petitions. However, we need to remember that this is only possible because of Jesus Christ. We can only approach God because of the eternal sacrifice of Jesus Christ. Jesus clearly stated, "I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me." (John 14:6 WEB)
It is only through Jesus that we can receive the blessings of God. We don't pray to God the Father directly without Jesus as our mediator. "For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus," (1 Timothy 2:5 WEB). Let's pray together in the name of Jesus, aligning our hearts with God's will.
Let's pray together. Heavenly Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus, thanking You for Your faithfulness and the blessings You have given us in the past. We ask for Your mercy and Your blessings. However, we also understand that we need to follow Jesus. Jesus clearly stated, "Therefore, don't be anxious, saying, 'What will we eat?', 'What will we drink?' or, 'With what will we be clothed?' For the Gentiles seek after all these things, for your heavenly Father knows that you need all these things. But seek first God's Kingdom, and his righteousness; and all these things will be given to you as well." (Matthew 6:31-33 WEB)
We pray for guidance and provision, but more importantly, we pray for a deepening relationship with Jesus. We ask for Your will to be done. Help us to use any blessings received for the honor and glory of God. Turn our hearts towards You and Your purposes. Thank You, Lord, for Your unfailing love. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
Furthermore, God is faithful to provide for our needs, but we must also be faithful to follow His ways. God cares about our hearts and our righteousness.
Therefore, "Do not be deceived. God is not mocked, for whatever a man sows, that will he also reap." (Galatians 6:7 WEB).
We must remember that God is sovereign, and His blessings are not merely for our personal gain but for the furtherance of His kingdom. Align your desires with His will.
