Thank you for sharing your prayer request. We are here to support you and lift up your needs to the Lord. Before we address the appointment, we first want to address the request in general. We notice that the request does not mention the name of Jesus Christ, Jesus, or Christ or an abbreviation such as IJN (In Jesus Name). Let us remind you that it is only by the name of Jesus that we have access to God. Also, there is no other name by which we can be saved.
Acts 4:12
Neither is there salvation in any other, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved!”
If you are unsure of your salvation or do not know Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior, we encourage you to learn more and believe in Jesus Christ.
Romans 10:9
because, if you confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved.
Romans 10:13
For, “Whoever will call on the name of the Lord will be saved.”
If you have accepted Jesus Christ and your sins have been forgiven, then you have access to the throne of God by Jesus blood shed on the cross.
Hebrews 4:16
Let us therefore draw near with boldness to the throne of grace, that we may receive mercy, and may find grace for help in time of need.
We encourage you to pray in the name of Jesus Christ, which is the only way to approach God. This is not an empty phrase but demonstrates belief in Jesus, which is the only way to God.
The appointment today seems to be important to you, may we ask what type of appointment it is. If it is a job interview, may we remind you that God provides for our needs.
Matthew 6:31-33
Therefore don’t be anxious, saying, ‘What will we eat?’, ‘What will we drink?’ or, ‘With what will we be clothed?’ 32 For the Gentiles seek after all these things, for your heavenly Father knows that you need all these things. 33 But seek first God’s Kingdom, and his righteousness; and all these things will be given to you as well.
If it is a court appearance, may we remind you that God is a just God and will right all wrongs.
Psalms 37:28
For Yahweh loves justice, and doesn’t forsake his saints. They are preserved forever; but the children of the wicked will be cut off.
Please tell us more about your appointment so that we may pray more specifically to God through Jesus Christ.
Regardless, we will pray a general prayer for you at this time. Let us pray.
Heavenly Father, we come boldly before your throne of grace by the blood of Jesus Christ. We thank you Lord that you hear our prayers and forgive us our sins. Lord we ask you to guide and direct the appointment today. We pray that your will be done and that you receive all the glory. We pray these things in Jesus name. Amen.
If your appointment is to engage in something that does not align with God's word, then we pray that God will convict you and guide you to do what is right.
