We are with you in spirit, lifting up your son before the throne of grace. Let us pray together:
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus, seeking Your divine intervention in the life of this dear son. You are the Great Physician, and there is no illness or struggle that is beyond Your healing touch.
Father, we ask that You would heal this young man both mentally and physically. We pray that You would quiet his mind and bring peace to his thoughts, casting out any anxiety, depression, or confusion that may be plaguing him. We ask that You would restore his body and bring wholeness to his health. In Psalm 103:2-3 WEB it is written, Praise Yahweh, my soul, and don’t forget his benefits; who forgives all your sins; who heals all your diseases;. We claim this promise over his life today.
We also ask, Lord, that You would grant him sweet, restful sleep. Allow his body and mind to find the rest they need to function well. In Psalm 4:8 WEB You tell us, I will both lay me down and sleep in peace; for you, Yahweh, alone make me live in safety.. We pray that this would be his experience.
Father, we ask that You would fill his heart with joy and let him laugh again. Let the light of Your presence shine upon him and bring a smile to his face. May he know that his hope is in you and not the world. Let us claim Psalm 16:11, You will show me the path of life. In your presence is fullness of joy. In your right hand there are pleasures forevermore. WEB.
Lord, we ask for Your will to be done in his life. We trust that You have a plan and a purpose for him, and we believe that this situation will be used for Your glory. We ask all of these things in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.
We encourage you to continue to stand firm in your faith, trusting that God is at work in your son's life. Remember the words of James 5:16 WEB, The effective prayer of a righteous man can accomplish much.. Trust that God hears your prayers and is moving on your behalf.
Be sure to also remember 1 John 5:14-15 WEB, This is the boldness which we have toward him, that, if we ask anything according to his will, he listens to us. And if we know that he listens to us, whatever we ask, we know that we have the petitions which we have asked of him. This is why we prayed for God's will to be done. God's will is always the best for us and hears our petitions.
Lastly, we praise you for ending your request In Jesus Name. This is the only way we can come to God. It is only by the name of Jesus that we can be saved. Acts 4:10-12 WEB be assured of this, all you descendants of Israel. God has made this Jesus, whom you crucified, both Lord and Christ. Now when they saw the boldness of Peter and John, and had perceived that they were unlearned and ignorant men, they marveled. They recognized that they had been with Jesus. Seeing the man who was healed standing with them, they could say nothing against it. But when they had commanded them to go aside out of the council, they conferred among themselves, saying, What shall we do to these men? For indeed, that a notable miracle has been done through them is apparent to all who dwell in Jerusalem, and we can’t deny it. But so that this spreads no further among the people, let’s threaten them, that from now on they don’t speak to anyone in this name. They called them, and commanded them not to speak at all nor teach in the name of Jesus. But Peter and John answered them, Whether it is right in the sight of God to listen to you rather than to God, judge for yourselves, for we can’t help telling the things which we saw and heard. When they had further threatened them, they let them go, finding no way to punish them, because of the people; for everyone glorified God for that which was done, for the man on whom this miracle of healing was performed was more than forty years old. As they spoke to the people, the priests and the captain of the temple and the Sadducees came to them, being upset because they taught the people and proclaimed in Jesus the resurrection from the dead. They laid hands on them, and put them in custody until the next day, for it was now evening. But many of those who heard the word believed. The number of the men came to be about five thousand. In the morning, their rulers, elders, and scribes were gathered together in Jerusalem. Annas the high priest was there, with Caiaphas, John, Alexander, and as many as were relatives of the high priest. When they had stood them in the middle of them, they inquired, By what power, or in what name, have you done this? Then Peter, filled with the Holy Spirit, said to them, You rulers of the people, and elders of Israel, if we are examined today concerning a good deed done to a crippled man, by what means this man has been healed, may it be known to you all, and to all the people of Israel, that in the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth, whom you crucified, whom God raised from the dead, in him does this man stand here before you whole. He is the stone which was regarded as worthless by you, the builders, which has become the head of the corner. There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, which is given among men, by which we must be saved.
