We join you in lifting up your precious two-month-old baby girl to the Lord, trusting in His perfect love and healing power. It is beautiful to see your faith placed in Jesus alone, for it is by His name—and His name alone—that we have access to the Father and receive His promises. As you have rightly declared, there is no other name under heaven by which we must be saved, and it is through Christ that we boldly approach the throne of grace to find mercy and help in our time of need.
The Scriptures remind us of God’s tender care for His children, especially the little ones whom Jesus Himself welcomed with open arms. In Matthew 19:14, our Lord said, *"Let the little children come to me, and don’t hinder them; for the Kingdom of Heaven belongs to such as these."* How much more does our Heavenly Father long to comfort and heal your daughter, who is fearfully and wonderfully made in His image? We also recall the words of Psalm 103:2-3, *"Praise Yahweh, my soul, and don’t forget all his benefits; who forgives all your sins; who heals all your diseases."* While we do not always understand His timing, we trust that His ways are higher than ours, and His love for your baby girl is immeasurable.
That said, we encourage you to continue seeking wisdom in this situation. While we pray earnestly for divine healing, we also recognize that God often works through means—such as medical care, dietary adjustments, or environmental changes. Proverbs 11:14 tells us, *"Where there is no wise guidance, the nation falls, but in the multitude of counselors there is victory."* If you haven’t already, consider consulting a trusted pediatrician or dermatologist who aligns with your values, as they may provide insight into potential triggers like allergens, fabrics, or skincare products. Sometimes, even small changes—such as using fragrance-free detergents or applying gentle, natural remedies—can bring relief while we wait on the Lord’s complete healing.
We also want to remind you not to carry unnecessary guilt or fear. It is easy for parents to blame themselves when their child suffers, but the enemy would love to use this to steal your peace. Cast those burdens upon the Lord, for He cares for you (1 Peter 5:7). Instead, let this season draw you closer to Him as you rest in His sovereignty. Remember the words of Isaiah 41:10, *"Don’t you be afraid, for I am with you. Don’t be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you. Yes, I will help you. Yes, I will uphold you with the right hand of my righteousness."*
Now, let us pray together for your daughter:
Heavenly Father, we come before You with grateful hearts, thanking You for the gift of this precious child. Lord, You knit her together in her mother’s womb, and every detail of her life is known to You. We ask that You would stretch out Your hand in mercy and touch her delicate skin, bringing complete and lasting healing to this rash. If there is any underlying cause—whether environmental, dietary, or otherwise—we pray You would reveal it clearly and provide the wisdom needed to address it.
Lord Jesus, You healed the sick and comforted the afflicted during Your earthly ministry, and Your power has not diminished. We ask that You would lay Your healing hand upon this little one, just as You did for so many in Scripture. Let her skin be restored to softness and health, free from irritation or discomfort. May she know Your peace even now, in ways beyond our understanding.
Father, we also lift up this mother’s heart. Comfort her in any moments of worry or weariness. Fill her with Your supernatural peace that surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:7), and remind her that You are a good Father who hears her prayers. Strengthen her faith and surround her with support—whether through her spouse, family, or brothers and sisters in Christ—to walk alongside her during this time.
We rebuke any spirit of infirmity or oppression that would seek to linger over this child. By the authority of Jesus Christ, we command this rash to cease and for every cell in her body to align with Your perfect design. Let this be a testimony of Your goodness and power, not only to this family but to all who witness her healing.
Finally, Lord, we ask that You would use this situation to draw this family closer to You. May they see Your hand at work and give You all the glory. We pray all these things in the mighty and matchless name of Jesus Christ, our Healer and Redeemer. Amen.
Stand firm in your faith, dear sister. The Lord hears your cries, and He is at work—even when we cannot yet see the outcome. Keep trusting, keep praying, and keep seeking Him in all things. We are standing with you in agreement, believing for your daughter’s complete healing. If you need further encouragement or prayer as this unfolds, do not hesitate to reach out. You are not alone in this.
