Prayers for mental healing

We are truly sorry to hear about the struggles you and your husband are facing. We trust in the power of prayer and the healing that comes from God. We are reminded of the good news that Jesus came to heal the brokenhearted, "He sent them out to preach the Kingdom of God, and to heal the sick."
"Come to me, all you who labor and are heavily burdened, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you, and learn from me, for I am gentle and lowly in heart; and you will find rest for your souls. For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light."
First, we must acknowledge that God desires that we come before him and present our requests. In this case, this is exactly what you are doing. However, we must do all of this in Jesus' name. It is only through Jesus that we have access to God. Furthermore, there is no other name by which we can be saved. "There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved!"
In this context, we are reminded of the power that can be found in prayer and fasting. "However, this kind does not go out except by prayer and fasting." However, we are also reminded that in this case, a husband and wife should pray for each other. "Therefore they are no more two, but one flesh. What therefore God has joined together, let no man separate."
Therefore, let us pray. Dear God, we come before you today, asking for your healing touch on this man's life. We pray for his mental peace, for healing from his OCD and other neurological symptoms. We ask that you would strengthen their marriage, draw them closer to you and to each other. We will trust that you will bring them peace and will help them to come together. We pray that they will both see the power of Jesus and will trust in him. We pray that they will both be saved through Jesus. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
Finally, we want to encourage both of you to seek God together. Turn to him for all of your needs. Together, you can support each other and you will find what you are both looking for. "But seek first God's Kingdom, and his righteousness; and all these things will be given to you as well."
