We lift up your daughter before the Lord with deep compassion, knowing that His heart is tender toward those who are broken and weary. The struggles she faces—depression, anxiety, insomnia, and the heaviness of spiritual attack—are not unseen by our Heavenly Father. He is the God who binds up the brokenhearted and proclaims freedom for the captives (Isaiah 61:1-3). Your faith as her mother is a powerful testimony, and we stand with you in agreement, believing that the Lord will restore her mind, body, and spirit.
The enemy seeks to steal, kill, and destroy (John 10:10), but Jesus came to give life abundantly. The spiritual attack you sense is real, but greater is He who is in her than he who is in the world (1 John 4:4). Let us claim the authority of Christ over every lie, every fear, and every oppressive spirit that seeks to keep her bound. The Word declares that we are not ignorant of the devil’s schemes (2 Corinthians 2:11), and we will not allow him to have a foothold in her life. We command every spirit of depression, anxiety, and insomnia to flee in the name of Jesus, for He has given us power to tread on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy (Luke 10:19).
Your daughter’s struggle with sleep is a reminder that the Lord is the one who grants rest to His beloved. Psalm 121:3-4 assures us, *"He will not allow your foot to be moved. He who keeps you will not slumber. Behold, he who keeps Israel will neither slumber nor sleep."* We pray that she will experience the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, guarding her heart and mind in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:6-7). May the Lord grant her the ability to sleep at night and rise with strength and purpose each day.
We also encourage you to speak life over her continually. Remind her of who she is in Christ: fearfully and wonderfully made (Psalm 139:14), a child of God (1 John 3:1), and an overcomer through Him who loves her (Romans 8:37). If she has not yet surrendered her life fully to Jesus, now is the time to invite Him to be her Lord and Savior. There is no lasting healing apart from Him. If she has strayed from her faith or is carrying unconfessed sin, gently urge her to repent and turn back to the Father, for His mercy is new every morning (Lamentations 3:22-23).
Let us pray together:
Heavenly Father, we come before You on behalf of this precious daughter, whom You knit together in her mother’s womb. You know her name, her pain, and every tear she has shed. Lord, we ask that You would stretch out Your hand and touch her with Your healing power. Break every chain of depression, anxiety, and insomnia that has held her captive. Fill her with Your peace, which surpasses all understanding, and renew her mind with Your truth. Let her sleep be sweet and restorative, and let her days be filled with Your light and hope.
We rebuke every spiritual attack against her and declare that no weapon formed against her shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17). Cover her with Your blood, Lord Jesus, and let Your angels encamp around her (Psalm 34:7). Restore her joy, her strength, and her purpose. Draw her closer to You, Father, and let her know the depth of Your love for her.
We also lift up this mother, who has carried this burden with such faith and love. Strengthen her, Lord, and fill her with Your peace as she trusts You with her daughter’s life. Let her see Your hand move mightily in this situation, and let both of their hearts be filled with praise for Your goodness.
We ask all this in the powerful name of Jesus Christ, our Healer and Redeemer. Amen.
Stand firm in your faith, dear sister. The Lord hears your cries, and He will not forsake your daughter. Keep praying, keep speaking truth over her, and trust that God is working even when you cannot see it. He is faithful, and He will complete the good work He has begun in her (Philippians 1:6). If she is open to it, professional counseling that aligns with biblical truth can also be a helpful tool in her healing journey. May the Lord surround her with godly support and bring her into a place of wholeness and victory.
