Prayers for good rest

Anonymous

Beloved of All
For healing, rest, and the tremendous pressure and attacks of the enemy Lord and persecution, we don’t know even where to begin to get the help, justice, and restitution that we need in all of this. We just pray in the HS to lead and guide and bring us this help that it automatically comes to us without even having to lift a finger. Hallelujah! Praises and your mighty fire and blood of protection over us, close family finances, property that you open your mighty blessed windows of heaven and pour down your blessings upon us where there’s not even room enough to receive it. And our blessed restored house. Praise you Jesus, amen.

We hear your cry for rest, healing, and deliverance from the overwhelming pressures and spiritual attacks you are facing. The weight of persecution and injustice can feel crushing, and we stand with you in seeking the Lord’s intervention. It is right to cry out to Him in your exhaustion, for He promises to be a refuge for the weary and a stronghold in times of trouble.

First, we must address the mention of praying "in the HS" (Holy Spirit) without explicitly invoking the name of Jesus. While the Holy Spirit is our Comforter and Guide, it is only through the name of Jesus Christ that we have access to the Father. Jesus Himself said, *"Most certainly I tell you, whatever you may ask of the Father in my name, he will give it to you"* (John 16:23). There is no other name under heaven by which we can be saved (Acts 4:12). We must always come before God in the name of Jesus, for He is the way, the truth, and the life (John 14:6). If you have not already, we encourage you to confess Jesus as Lord and Savior, for salvation comes through faith in Him alone.

Now, let us lift your needs before the throne of grace. Father God, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, acknowledging that You are our Healer, our Provider, and our Deliverer. Lord, we ask for deep and restorative rest for our brothers and sisters who are weary and heavy-laden. You promise in Your Word, *"Come to me, all you who labor and are heavily burdened, and I will give you rest"* (Matthew 11:28). We claim this promise over them now. Bring them peace that surpasses all understanding, guarding their hearts and minds in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7).

We rebuke the attacks of the enemy in Jesus’ name. The devil comes to steal, kill, and destroy, but Jesus came that we might have life abundantly (John 10:10). We stand on the authority of Your Word, which declares, *"No weapon that is formed against you will prevail; and you will condemn every tongue that rises against you in judgment"* (Isaiah 54:17). We plead the blood of Jesus over their lives, their families, their finances, and their property. Let Your fire of protection surround them, and let the enemy’s plans be thwarted.

Lord, we ask for Your justice to prevail. You see the oppression and persecution they are enduring, and You are a God who executes justice for the oppressed (Psalm 103:6). We pray that You would arise and scatter their enemies, as You did for Your people in times past. Let restitution come swiftly, and let every wrong be made right according to Your perfect will.

Father, we also lift up their finances and property. You own the cattle on a thousand hills (Psalm 50:10), and You are able to open the windows of heaven and pour out blessings so great that there will not be room enough to receive them (Malachi 3:10). We ask for Your provision to flow abundantly, not just to meet their needs, but to overflow so they may be a blessing to others. Restore their home, Lord, and let it be a place of peace, safety, and joy.

We declare that the enemy will not have the final say over their lives. You are making all things new (Revelation 21:5), and we trust in Your faithfulness to complete the good work You have begun in them (Philippians 1:6). Strengthen their faith, Lord, and help them to wait on You with hope and expectation.

In closing, we pray this prayer of agreement with our brothers and sisters: Heavenly Father, we thank You for hearing our cries. We trust in Your unfailing love and Your mighty power to deliver. Fill them with Your peace, provide for their every need, and let Your justice roll down like a river. We ask all these things in the precious and powerful name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.

Hold fast to God’s promises, dear ones. The battle belongs to the Lord, and He will fight for you. Keep your eyes on Jesus, the author and perfecter of your faith (Hebrews 12:2). Rest in His presence, for He is your strength and your shield. The night may be long, but joy comes in the morning (Psalm 30:5). Stand firm, and do not grow weary in doing good, for in due season you will reap if you do not give up (Galatians 6:9).

We're right here with you, standing in the gap and lifting your needs before our heavenly Father. We've been where you are, feeling the weight of persecution, the pressure of attacks, and the desperation for justice and rest. But we serve a God who sees, who cares, and who acts.

We join you in praying for healing, for rest, and for the tremendous pressure and attacks of the enemy to cease. We claim the promises of God over your life, that He will give you rest (Matthew 11:28), that He will fight for you (2 Chronicles 20:15), and that He will supply all your needs according to His riches in glory (Philippians 4:19).

We also pray for your finances and property. We ask that God would open the windows of heaven and pour out blessings upon you, that there would not be room enough to receive them (Malachi 3:10). We pray for your home to be restored, a place of peace, safety, and joy.

Remember, dear friend, God is not slow in keeping his promises, as some understand slowness. Instead, he is patient, not wanting anyone to perish, but everyone to come to repentance (2 Peter 3:9). Trust in His timing, and keep your eyes fixed on Jesus, the author and perfecter of your faith (Hebrews 12:2).

We're in this together, and we'll keep praying, keep believing, and keep hoping until we see the answer. Stay strong, and remember, the night may be long, but joy comes in the morning (Psalm 30:5).
