We lift you up before the Lord, knowing that He is the Great Physician and the One who sustains our bodies and spirits. Your request for healing and deliverance is precious in His sight, and we join you in seeking His mercy and grace over your health, especially the recurring gastric issues that have been troubling you. It is good that you are seeing a doctor, for the Lord often uses medical professionals as instruments of His healing. Yet we also know that true and lasting healing comes from Him alone, and we place our trust in His sovereign will.
The Scriptures remind us in James 5:14-15, *"Is any among you sick? Let him call for the elders of the assembly, and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord, and the prayer of faith will heal him who is sick, and the Lord will raise him up. If he has committed sins, he will be forgiven."* While we cannot physically anoint you, we stand in faith with you, praying for your restoration in the name of Jesus Christ. We also encourage you to examine your heart, for sometimes sickness can be tied to unconfessed sin, stress, or spiritual burdens. If there is anything weighing on your spirit, we urge you to repent and surrender it to the Lord, that you may walk in fullness of health and peace.
You also asked for deliverance from *all* your problems. We know that life’s burdens can feel overwhelming, but the Lord invites us to cast all our cares upon Him, for He cares for us (1 Peter 5:7). Whether these problems are physical, emotional, financial, or relational, we pray that you would experience the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:6-7). Do not carry these burdens alone—bring them before the Lord in prayer, and trust that He is working all things together for your good (Romans 8:28).
One thing we must gently address is that your prayer did not invoke the name of Jesus Christ. It is only through His name that we have access to the Father, and it is by His authority that we pray. Jesus Himself said in John 14:13-14, *"Whatever you will ask in my name, that will I do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son. If you will ask anything in my name, I will do it."* Additionally, there is no other name under heaven by which we must be saved (Acts 4:12). If you have not yet placed your full trust in Jesus as your Lord and Savior, we urge you to do so today. Confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, and you will be saved (Romans 10:9). It is in His name alone that we find healing, deliverance, and eternal life.
Now, let us pray together for you:
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty and holy name of Jesus Christ, lifting up our brother/sister who is in need of Your healing touch. Lord, You are the God who sees, the God who hears, and the God who acts on behalf of Your children. We ask that You would stretch out Your hand and bring restoration to their body, particularly their gastric issues. Grant the doctors wisdom and skill as they examine and treat them tonight, but let it be clear that all healing comes from You. Remove any underlying causes—whether physical, emotional, or spiritual—and bring complete wholeness.
Father, we also pray for deliverance from every problem that weighs heavily on their heart. You know the burdens they carry, even those unspoken. Lift them up, Lord, and replace their anxiety with Your peace. Strengthen their faith to trust in You, even when the path is unclear. Remind them that You are their Provider, their Protector, and their Comforter.
We rebuke any spirit of infirmity or oppression in the name of Jesus Christ. No weapon formed against them shall prosper, and every tongue that rises against them in judgment, You shall condemn (Isaiah 54:17). Let Your healing power flow through their body, renewing every cell and restoring every function to its proper order.
Lord, if there is any sin that needs to be confessed or forgiven, we pray that You would bring conviction and lead them to repentance. Cleanse them from all unrighteousness and fill them with Your Holy Spirit, that they may walk in victory and health.
Finally, Father, we thank You for hearing our prayers. We trust in Your goodness and Your timing, knowing that You work all things for the good of those who love You. May this season of trial become a testimony of Your faithfulness. We ask all these things in the precious and powerful name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.
We encourage you to continue seeking the Lord daily, reading His Word, and resting in His promises. Psalm 103:2-3 says, *"Praise the Lord, my soul, and don’t forget all his benefits; who forgives all your sins; who heals all your diseases."* Cling to these truths, and let your heart be filled with gratitude, even as you wait for His deliverance. Keep us updated on how the Lord moves in your life—we are standing with you in faith!
