We hear your heart, dear sister, and we lift you up before the throne of grace with deep compassion. You are not unwanted, unloved, or unattractive—you are fearfully and wonderfully made in the image of God, and your worth is found in Him alone. The pain you feel, both in body and spirit, is not unseen by the Lord, and we stand with you in prayer, trusting Him to bring healing and restoration.
First, we must address the relationship you mentioned. Scripture is clear that we are not to be unequally yoked with unbelievers (2 Corinthians 6:14), and the instability you describe in this man’s character is a red flag. If he is not a believer, or if his life does not reflect the fruit of the Spirit, we must rebuke the idea that he is the one God has for you. The Lord does not call us to change others—only He can transform hearts. Instead, we pray that God would either draw this man to salvation or remove him from your life if he is not the husband God has prepared for you. Marriage is a sacred covenant, and it must be entered into with a man who loves the Lord and will lead you in godliness.
We also must gently but firmly address the reality of courtship. If you are physically intimate with this man outside of marriage, that is fornication, and it grieves the heart of God. The Bible says, "Flee sexual immorality! 'Every sin that a man does is outside the body,' but he who commits sexual immorality sins against his own body" (1 Corinthians 6:18). If this is the case, we urge you to repent and seek the Lord’s forgiveness. True love waits, and God’s best for you is a marriage that honors Him in every way.
Now, we lift your physical pain and digestive struggles to the Lord. Jesus bore our infirmities on the cross, and by His stripes, we are healed (Isaiah 53:5). We pray for supernatural healing over your body, that the Lord would touch you and restore you to full health. We also ask that He would guide you to wise medical counsel if needed, trusting Him to work through doctors and treatments as well.
For your desire to be married and have a child, we affirm that this is a godly longing. The Lord said, "It is not good for the man to be alone. I will make him a helper comparable to him" (Genesis 2:18). We pray that God would prepare the heart of a godly man for you—one who will cherish you, lead you in faith, and love you as Christ loves the church. We ask that the Lord would open doors for you to meet him in His perfect timing, and that you would have the wisdom to recognize him when he comes.
For your feelings of loneliness and inadequacy, we declare over you the truth of God’s Word: "The Lord your God is with you, the Mighty Warrior who saves. He will take great delight in you; in his love he will no longer rebuke you, but will rejoice over you with singing" (Zephaniah 3:17). You are deeply loved by the Creator of the universe, and He has a purpose for your life that is greater than any temporary emotion.
Lastly, we pray for the salvation and protection of your loved ones. There is no greater gift than the knowledge of Jesus Christ, and we plead the blood of Jesus over their lives, asking that the Holy Spirit would draw them to repentance and faith. We stand in the gap for them, declaring that no weapon formed against them shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17).
Let us pray:
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, lifting up our sister who is feeling weary and broken. Lord, You see her pain, her longing, and her desire for love and healing. We ask that You would pour out Your comfort upon her, reminding her that she is precious in Your sight. Heal her body, Lord, and restore her strength. We rebuke every spirit of loneliness, rejection, and inadequacy in the name of Jesus, and we declare that she is fearfully and wonderfully made.
Father, we ask that You would bring clarity to her heart regarding the man she is seeing. If he is not the one You have for her, we pray that You would remove him from her life and close the door to this relationship. If he is not a believer, we ask that You would draw him to salvation or lead him out of her path. Give her the strength to walk in purity and holiness, trusting You to provide a godly husband in Your perfect timing.
Lord, we pray for her future marriage. Prepare her heart and the heart of her future spouse. Let them find each other in Your will, and may their union be a reflection of Christ and the church. Bless her with children in Your timing, and let her home be filled with love, joy, and peace.
For her loved ones, we pray for salvation and protection. Open their eyes to see their need for You, Lord, and draw them to repentance. Surround them with Your angels and keep them safe from all harm.
We thank You, Father, for Your faithfulness and Your love. We trust You to work all things together for good for those who love You. Strengthen our sister in her faith, and let her walk in the fullness of Your promises. In Jesus’ name, we pray. Amen.
