We come before the Lord with you in this time of need, lifting up your family and your heartfelt requests for protection, guidance, and provision. It is clear you are seeking God’s will in the midst of uncertainty, and we stand with you in faith, knowing that our Heavenly Father hears the cries of His children and acts on their behalf. Let us first address the foundation of our prayers—it is only through the name of Jesus Christ that we have access to the Father, for Scripture declares, *"There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved!"* (Acts 4:12, WEB). It is by His authority alone that we can boldly approach the throne of grace, and we encourage you to always invoke His name in your prayers, for He is the mediator between God and humanity (1 Timothy 2:5).
Your desire for protection is one that aligns with God’s heart for His people. The Lord is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble (Psalm 46:1). We pray that He would surround your family with His divine hedge of protection, shielding you from harm and evil influences. May He place His angels around you, as He has promised: *"For he will put his angels in charge of you, to guard you in all your ways"* (Psalm 91:11, WEB). We also pray that the Lord would grant you discernment to recognize His voice above all others, for His sheep hear His voice and follow Him (John 10:27). In a world filled with confusion and deception, may the Holy Spirit guide your steps and illuminate your path, so that you walk in wisdom and understanding (Proverbs 3:5-6).
Regarding your request to sell your current home and move from your present situation, we trust that the Lord is able to open doors that no man can shut (Revelation 3:8). However, we must also encourage you to seek His will above your own desires. Moving simply to escape difficulties may not always be His plan—sometimes, He calls us to stand firm and trust Him in the midst of trials (James 1:2-4). Yet if this move is indeed His will, we pray that He would make the way clear, providing the right buyers, the right timing, and the right new beginning for your family. *"Commit your way to Yahweh. Trust also in him, and he will do this: he will bring out your righteousness as the light, and your justice as the noonday"* (Psalm 37:5-6, WEB). We also pray for provision in your work, that the Lord would lead you to employment that not only sustains you financially but also aligns with His purposes for your life. Remember, *"But seek first God’s Kingdom and his righteousness; and all these things will be given to you as well"* (Matthew 6:33, WEB). Do not lean on your own understanding, but trust that He who feeds the birds of the air and clothes the lilies of the field will take care of you (Matthew 6:26-30).
Your request to remove "unfair people" from your lives is one we approach with caution. While it is natural to desire relief from those who may cause harm or distress, we must also consider the words of Jesus: *"But I tell you, love your enemies, bless those who curse you, do good to those who hate you, and pray for those who mistreat you and persecute you"* (Matthew 5:44, WEB). It may be that the Lord is calling you to respond to difficult people with grace and forgiveness, trusting Him to be your vindicator (Romans 12:19). That said, we do pray that the Lord would remove any influences that are truly toxic or harmful to your spiritual well-being. May He grant you the wisdom to set godly boundaries while also extending His love to those who may not deserve it. *"If it is possible, as much as it is up to you, be at peace with all men"* (Romans 12:18, WEB).
Lastly, your mention of finding *"a place that reminds me of our world"* gives us pause. As followers of Christ, we are called to be in the world but not of it (John 17:14-16). Our true home is not in this temporary world but in the eternal kingdom of God. If you are seeking a place of comfort or nostalgia, we pray that your heart would first find its rest in Him alone. *"Don’t love the world or the things that are in the world. If anyone loves the world, the Father’s love isn’t in him"* (1 John 2:15, WEB). May the Lord fill you with a longing for His presence above all else, and may He grant you contentment in every circumstance (Philippians 4:11-13).

**Let us pray together:**
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, lifting up this family and their needs to Your throne of grace. Lord, You are their protector, their provider, and their guide. We ask that You would surround them with Your divine protection, shielding them from every scheme of the enemy and every harm that may come their way. Place Your angels around them, Lord, and let no weapon formed against them prosper (Isaiah 54:17).
Grant them discernment, O God, that they may know Your voice and walk in Your ways. Open their eyes to see the path You have set before them, and give them the courage to follow it, even when it is difficult. If it is Your will for them to move, we pray that You would make the way clear—provide the right buyers, the right timing, and the right new beginning. Let this transition be marked by Your peace and Your provision, and may they seek first Your kingdom in all things.
Father, we also lift up their need for work and sustenance. You are Jehovah Jireh, the Lord who provides. Open doors of opportunity that no man can shut, and lead them to employment that honors You and meets their needs. Remove any fear or anxiety from their hearts, and replace it with trust in Your faithfulness.
Lord, we ask that You would guard their hearts against bitterness or resentment toward those who may have treated them unfairly. Help them to forgive as You have forgiven them (Colossians 3:13), and give them the wisdom to set godly boundaries. Remove any influence that would hinder their walk with You, and surround them with people who will encourage them in faith.
Finally, Father, we pray that their hearts would find rest in You alone. Let them not seek fulfillment in the things of this world but in Your presence and Your promises. Fill them with Your peace that surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:7), and let them know that their true home is with You.
We rebuked any spirit of fear, doubt, or discouragement in the name of Jesus Christ. Let the enemy be scattered, and let Your will be done in their lives. We thank You, Lord, for hearing our prayers and for Your faithfulness to answer. In the precious and powerful name of Jesus Christ, we pray. Amen.
