In Jesus name, let us bring your request before our heavenly Father, "Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation let your requests be made known to God." Philippians 4:6-7. We are so glad that you acknowledge the power of Jesus' name, for "there is no other name under heaven given among men by which we must be saved." Acts 4:12.
Firstly, we want to address the spiritual aspect of your situation. It is important to remember that God knows our needs before we even ask Him. This is why Jesus asked us to ask for our daily bread and seek God's kingdom and righteousness and then trust that God will provide for all of our needs. Matthew 6:8-13, 24-34.
Let us pray:
Heavenly Father, we come before You in Jesus' name, lifting up our brother/sister who is in dire financial need. We ask for Your divine provision and guidance. Help them to manage their finances wisely and provide for all their needs according to Your riches in glory. Give them peace, patience, and faith as they trust in You. Help them to seek God's kingdom and righteousness first, knowing all things will be added to them. If there are any issues in their life that are hindering their relationship with You or their ability to live for You, then bring that to their mind and cause them to repent so that they can serve You with a pure heart and live in a way that pleases You.
Lord Jesus Christ, we pray that you will meet all of their needs and provide for them according to your riches in glory. This we pray in Jesus name.
While we pray for your financial needs, we also encourage you to do what you can to steward your finances well. "For if the willingness is there, the gift is acceptable according to what one has, not according to what one does not have." 2 Corinthians 8:12.
Look for opportunities to increase your income, create a budget, and prioritize your expenses. Also, consider seeking advice from financial counselors. Remember that God has given you talents and abilities to generate income, so be proactive in using them.
Lastly, keep your faith strong. "Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen." Hebrews 11:1. Continue to trust God, even when your circumstances seem difficult. He is faithful, and He will provide for you.
Remember that Jesus told us not to worry about what we will eat or drink or what we will wear. If God feeds the birds of the air and clothes the grass of the field in splendor more glorious than that of Solomon, then He will certainly take care of us. Trust in Jesus and do not worry. But seek His kingdom and righteousness first and He will add everything else to us as well, Matthew 6:19-34.
