Prayers for family

[Concerned Mom]

I would like to request prayers for both my daughter and son.

My daughter's situation is complicated but needs your prayers. She is pregnant with our first grandson and is due later this summer. She has a good job and is taking care of herself, but she has been under a lot of stress, would like prayers for a healthy normal full term delivery and a healthy normal beautiful baby boy! The reason she is stressing is the father... don't get me wrong, he is basically a good person, he wasn't raised in a Christian home, has had past problems, he is excited about the baby but doesn't feel worthy to be in her or his life right now. I have talked to him about Jesus and prayer, he seems intersted but confused about it. I know if he could let go of his past issues, let himself be with our daughter and soon to be grandson, he'd make a wonderful father and future husband. He has good qualities that he just doesn't seem to realize. He is good natured, passive and just very kind hearted. Please pray for him to find our Lord Jesus Christ, let go of the negative things in his life and start his life as a family man with our daughter and soon to be grandson. She has the foundations to be a good Christian and these past months have helped bring her closer, I know with Jesus in his heart and her by his side, he could be the man he wants and needs to be.

My son has dealt with addictions, he is battling to stay clean and doing well, but it's a constant battle. Please pray that Jesus holds on to him and let's him know that he is there to help and with his help all things will be possible for him.

In Jesus name I request and lift up these prayers to him. As I know He hears them and will answer them.

Father, I pray for this couple about to become a family. May Your spirit and will come upon their hearts and open their eyes to the beauty and wonder of life lived through you. May they accept Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior, and create a loving, Christian home in which to raise their child. Your guidance and nurturing grace are needed dear Father, and I pray You will facilitate the creation of a faithful, Christian home. I also pray Your presence with this son. Thank you for helping him to overcome his addiction. Grant him the strength, endurance and courage to walk forward, without the tug towards addictive behavior. We know You have called him out of that cycle for a reason, may Your will and path be made known to him. Walk with this family each day and grant them Your blessings and favor I pray. Amen.

Thank you for the prayer, you managed to find just the right words to say. I'm new at this website and it may take me awhile to find my way around it. But I feel blessed knowing there are others out there that care enough to help myself and others with the power of prayer. Keeping you in my prayers as well.

Thanks to all for your prayers, please continue lifting up my family.

My daughter experienced early contractions last week, she is now 36 weeks, they gave her medicine to stop them, and hope she is able to carry him at least a few more weeks. She works in surgery so is on her feet alot. Please continue prayers to keep her and baby boy safe with full term safe delivery. Please continue laying on "daddy's" heart to be by their side.

My son continues doing well, he just received a full time job last week, the people he will be working for are good christian people, and will be good role models for him. This IS a blessing.

Lord, I thank you for holding my family up, please continue watching over us, in Jesus Name I send my prayers. Amen
