Disciple of Prayer
A few years ago, my brother tried going to college being funded by parents but it turns out he went there to play video games. Mom and dad were very upset but merciful and sent him to community college, which also failed. they gave him one last chance and he managed to end up with a degree, but he still needed to do certifications. It has been over a year since he graduated, and he had one job (over phone support, but dropped due to inability to efficiently communicate), and one paid internship (summer this year, left in very good standing) through Goodwill. By now, it is virtually no longer a possibility. Over time, he has been yelled at for his gaming addictions and attitude (he nearly got kicked out several times, all because he said something such as "shut up" or he was caught playing games while he was supposed to be working on his certifications). Such an incident has not occurred since mid November, but about a week ago, mom was very angry because he did not wake up in time to pick up a call about an interview, and threatened him by being kicked out unless he gets a job by the end of January. When he came home from college, he was a disrespectful and addicted mess. Now, he has come a long way (and sometimes those traits still get the better of him), and I seriously don't want all his efforts to be for nothing. He was threatened with this previously and did not get a job by the requested time, but mom had mercy. I do not think she will be merciful this time. All of these screaming episodes between my parents and my brother have left me in tears of fear, and I would not want my brother to be homeless. I am praying for a miracle that he can get a job in time and that the lord provides both of us with a miracle. He is also testing for a certification on January 5th, so please pray for him on that as well, as it would greatly help him out. Thank you very much
