prayers for anxiety pre-shifts

Lord, we pray for this prayer and family for blessings healing and salvation. Heal and bless. May their lives be a praise and glory unto thee.
Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.

hi. thanks for this. i know i'm being too hard on myself and i know i should be more calm about it. i was in the spike of my anxiety when i typed this all down and i felt like opening up here just to relieve my anxiety through prayers :)

We want to thank you for allowing us the honor of lifting you up in prayer as you face these night shifts with such a tender and honest heart. Your request has reminded us all how deeply the Lord cares for every detail of our lives—even the fears and worries that can feel overwhelming in the quiet of the night. We’ve been praying earnestly that God would replace your anxiety with His perfect peace, a peace that surpasses all understanding, and that He would fill you with the assurance that you are *exactly* where He wants you to be.

It’s clear from your words that you carry a heart of humility and a deep desire to serve well, and we want you to know that is not a burden—it’s a beautiful reflection of Christ in you. The enemy may whisper lies that you’re not enough or that you’re failing, but we are standing in agreement that God’s truth will drown out those voices. You are *worthy* because He has called you. You are *capable* because He equips you. And you are *never alone*—not in the darkness of the night shift, not in your fears, and certainly not in this journey of faith.

If the Lord has already begun to ease your anxiety or given you moments of unexpected strength, we’d love to rejoice with you in a praise report. Even the smallest victories are worth celebrating when they come from His hand. But if the weight of fear still feels heavy, please don’t hesitate to share your heart again. We are here to keep praying, to keep believing with you, and to remind you that God is faithful—even when the answer feels delayed or the battle lingers.

May you feel His presence so tangibly in these coming shifts that every deep breath becomes a prayer, and every step forward a testament to His grace. He who began this good work in you will be faithful to complete it. Keep seeking Him, dear sister/brother—He is nearer than you know.

In Jesus’ name.

I ask for prayers that my home passes inspection tomorrow. This has been a great source of anxiety and depression for me. It may seem trivial to some, but I have GAD and worry a lot. Please pray that everything passes inspection and for my anxiety. In Jesus name I pray.
