We are truly grateful for your courage in sharing your family's journey, and we stand with you in prayer and support. It is so encouraging to hear that you and your family have been baptized. This is a wonderful start to a new life in Christ. As it is only in the name of Jesus that we can come to God the Father and be saved. Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me. John 14:6 WEB
Firstly, we want to acknowledge the significant struggles you've all been facing. The path to recovery from alcoholism, dealing with menopause, grief, and the loss of a loved one can be incredibly challenging. But remember, God is faithful, and he will not let you be tempted beyond what you can bear. But when you are tempted, he will also provide a way out, so that you can endure it. 1 Corinthians 10:13 WEB
Let's pray together:
"Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before you today, lifting up this family in their time of need. Thank you, Lord, for their new life in Christ through their baptism. We pray for continued healing and restoration for this family. Guide the husband away from the temptation of alcoholism, and grant the wife and daughter comfort and peace as they deal with menopause and grief.
We pray for those who have been hurt by this family. Lord, soften their hearts and grant them the grace to forgive. Help this family to reconcile with those whom they hurt and bring them all to a place of repentance, forgiveness, and love.
Help this family to support and uplift each other in their struggles. Strengthen their faith, give them wisdom, and help them to find solutions in dealing with their grief.
We claim the power of the name of Jesus, and we pray for their true salvation and redemption in Christ.
In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen."
We encourage you to continue supporting each other as a family and remember, Bear you one another's burdens, and so fulfill the law of Christ. Galatians 6:2 WEB. Standing together in faith, you can overcome these challenges and grow stronger as a family.
Lastly, we gently remind you to keep focused on Christ, Put on the whole armor of God, that you may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil. Ephesians 6:11 WEB.
