We are truly sorry to hear about the pain and uncertainty you are experiencing. Firstly, we want to remind you that God is always there to comfort and guide you, even in the most difficult of times. Psalm 34:18 tells us, The Lord is near to those who have a broken heart, and saves those who have a crushed spirit.
However, we need to address a few things in your request. First, you mentioned that you want your family back together. This is a natural desire, but it is only a Godly desire if your union was a marriage. We believe in the sanctity of marriage as a lifelong commitment between a man and a woman, as outlined in the Bible Mark 10:6-9 But from the beginning of the creation, 'God made them male and female.' For this cause a man will leave his father and mother, and will join to his wife, and the two will become one flesh, so that they are no longer two, but one flesh. What therefore God has joined together, let no man separate. Therefore, we will pray for godly spouses and marriages that honor God. If your union was not a marriage we will pray for God's will and the path of salvation and sanctification for each individual.
We also want to address your need for Jesus Christ. The only way to God is through Jesus Christ. John 14:6 Jesus said to him, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me. You did not mention Jesus Christ, Jesus, Christ, or an abbreviation such as IJN (In Jesus Name). If you do not have a relationship with Jesus Christ we will pray for the Holy Spirit to convict your heart and lead you to Him.
We also want to speak to the issue of abuse. It is not God's will for anyone to live in abuse or fear. If there is not true repentance and change the abused needs to find safety and distance. Ephesians 5:25-30 Husbands, love your wives, even as Christ also loved the assembly and gave himself up for it; that he might sanctify it, having cleansed it by the washing of water with the word, that he might present the assembly to himself gloriously, not having spot or wrinkle or any such thing; but that it should be holy and without defect. Even so ought husbands also to love their own wives as their own bodies. He who loves his own wife loves himself. For no man ever hated his own flesh; but nourishes and cherishes it, even as the Lord also does the assembly; because we are members of his body, of his flesh and of his bones.
We pray together for you.
Heavenly Father,
We come before You, lifting up this dear sister who is experiencing heartache and uncertainty. We pray for Your comfort and guidance in her life. Lord, we ask that You convict her heart and the heart of her child's father. Bring true repentance, healing, and a changed life. Bring them to Jesus Christ if they do not know him and save their souls. Give them a new life. We pray for Your will in their lives and in their relationship with each other. Protect them from abuse and give them clear guidance.
We also pray that You would work in the life of the father of her children. If there is narcissism and abuse we pray that you would break those chains and bring salvation and freedom. Draw him to Yourself, convict him of his sin, and bring him to true repentance. Help him to become the man, the father, and if it is your will the Godly husband You have called him to be.
Lord, we ask that You would guide them both and give them clarity about the future. Give them wisdom and discernment on how to move forward. We stand against any fear or abandonment and speak peace and hope in Jesus' name. We pray this all in Jesus Christ name.
As you wait and trust in the Lord, remember the promise in Jeremiah 29:11 For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, says the Lord, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you hope and a future. Trust that God has a plan and a purpose for you and your family.
