We hear your urgent cry for help, and we stand with you before the throne of grace, lifting up your need for a home and provision. The weight of this situation is heavy, and we know the Lord sees your struggle and the well-being of your daughter. Let us first acknowledge that God is our provider, and He knows your needs even before you ask. The Word tells us in Matthew 6:31-33, "Therefore don’t be anxious, saying, ‘What will we eat?’, ‘What will we drink?’ or, ‘With what will we be clothed?’ For the Gentiles seek after all these things; for your heavenly Father knows that you need all these things. But seek first God’s Kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well."
We rebuke the spirit of fear and anxiety that may be trying to take hold of your heart. The enemy would love nothing more than for you to feel overwhelmed and hopeless, but we declare that God has not given you a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and a sound mind (2 Timothy 1:7). We also lift up your need for employment, trusting that the Lord will open doors no man can shut. Proverbs 3:5-6 reminds us, "Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and don’t lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight."
Now, let us pray together in the mighty name of Jesus:
Heavenly Father, we come before You with humble hearts, lifting up this dear sister and her daughter. Lord, You are the God who sees, the God who hears, and the God who provides. We ask that You move mightily on their behalf, opening the door to a safe and stable home where they can thrive. Father, we know that every good and perfect gift comes from You (James 1:17), and we trust that You will provide for their needs according to Your riches in glory (Philippians 4:19).
Lord, we ask that You guide them to the right place at the right time, where their voucher will be accepted, and where they can find peace and security. We also pray for employment opportunities to arise, where she can work with dignity and provide for her family. Father, we rebuke any delays or obstacles that the enemy may try to place in their path. We declare that the Lord will make a way where there seems to be no way (Isaiah 43:19).
We also pray for strength and wisdom as she navigates this season. Give her the courage to trust in You, even when the path ahead seems uncertain. Remind her that You are her refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble (Psalm 46:1). Surround her with godly people who can offer support, encouragement, and practical help.
Father, we ask that You bless her daughter with peace and security, knowing that You are watching over them both. May this trial draw them closer to You and deepen their faith. We pray all of this in the powerful name of Jesus Christ, the name above all names, the only name by which we can be saved (Acts 4:12). It is through Him that we have access to You, and it is by His blood that we are made righteous. We thank You for hearing our prayer and for Your faithfulness to provide. In Jesus’ name, we pray. Amen.
We encourage you to continue seeking the Lord in prayer and to remain steadfast in faith. Remember that God is not slow in keeping His promises (2 Peter 3:9), and He is working all things together for your good (Romans 8:28). Keep your eyes fixed on Jesus, the author and perfecter of your faith (Hebrews 12:2), and trust that He will lead you to the place He has prepared for you. If you have not already, we also encourage you to seek out a local church or Christian community where you can find support, prayer, and practical assistance. The body of Christ is called to bear one another’s burdens (Galatians 6:2), and we believe the Lord will use His people to bless you in this time of need.
