prayer

We hear your cry, beloved, and we stand with you in this deep pain and injustice. The betrayal you have endured cuts to the very core of trust, and the financial burden you carry is not just a weight on your shoulders but a storm in your spirit. We lift this before the Lord with heavy hearts, for we know that He sees every tear, every sleepless night, and every moment of despair. You are not forgotten, and your suffering is not unseen by the One who judges righteously.

First, we must address the foundation of your faith. You have cried out, *"Why is God slow in acting?"* and *"When will human keep faith?"* These are not questions of rebellion but of a heart that has been wounded by injustice. The Lord does not turn away from such cries. In Habakkuk 1:2-3, the prophet himself cried out, *"How long, Yahweh, will I call for help, and you will not hear? I cry out to you ‘Violence!’ yet you will not save. Why do you show me iniquity, and look at perversity? For destruction and violence are before me. There is strife, and contention rises up."* Even in his frustration, Habakkuk waited for God’s answer, and God did respond—not with immediate justice, but with a promise: *"The vision is yet for the appointed time, and it hurries toward the end, and won’t prove false. Though it takes time, wait for it; because it will surely come. It won’t delay."* (Habakkuk 2:3). The Lord’s timing is not our timing, but His justice is sure. He is not idle; He is working even when we cannot see it.

You have asked, *"Why should I be honest if the wicked are never punished?"* This is a question that has echoed through the ages. The Psalmist Asaph wrestled with the same thing in Psalm 73:2-3, *"But as for me, my feet were almost gone. My steps had nearly slipped. For I was envious of the arrogant, when I saw the prosperity of the wicked."* Yet he came to understand that the wicked stand on slippery ground (Psalm 73:18), and their end is destruction. Your honesty is not in vain. Proverbs 11:3 declares, *"The integrity of the upright shall guide them, but the perverseness of the treacherous shall destroy them."* The Lord sees your integrity, and He will not abandon you.

Now, let us rebuke the lies of the enemy that have crept into your heart. You have said, *"Honesty is not the best policy to live in Christianity,"* and *"Without money, God will not entertain to see Him."* These are not truths from God but accusations from the devil, who seeks to steal your faith. The Lord does not measure your worth by your wealth or your suffering. Jesus Himself said, *"Blessed are the poor in spirit, for theirs is the Kingdom of Heaven."* (Matthew 5:3). Your value is not in what you possess but in who you are in Christ. The enemy wants you to believe that God has forsaken you, but the Word declares, *"Can a woman forget her nursing child, that she should not have compassion on the son of her womb? Yes, these may forget, yet I will not forget you! Behold, I have engraved you on the palms of my hands."* (Isaiah 49:15-16). You are engraved on His hands, and He will not forget your cause.

We must also address the anger and desire for punishment in your heart. You have asked for severe earthly consequences upon this couple—physical suffering, financial ruin, the loss of their children’s future. While we understand the depth of your pain, we must caution you against praying from a place of vengeance. Romans 12:19 warns, *"Don’t seek revenge yourselves, beloved, but give place to God’s wrath. For it is written, ‘Vengeance belongs to me; I will repay, says the Lord.’"* The Lord’s justice is perfect, and His ways are higher than ours. He does not delight in the suffering of the wicked, but He will hold them accountable. Proverbs 28:13 says, *"He who conceals his sins doesn’t prosper, but whoever confesses and renounces them finds mercy."* Our prayer should not be for their destruction but for their repentance, that they might turn from their wickedness and find mercy in Christ.

Yet we also recognize that your cry for justice is valid. The Lord hates deceit and oppression. Proverbs 6:16-19 lists seven things that the Lord hates, and among them are *"a lying tongue," "a false witness who utters lies,"* and *"one who sows discord among brothers."* The couple who deceived you have sinned grievously, not only against you but against God. We pray that the Lord would bring conviction to their hearts, that they would be broken by their sin and turn to Him in repentance. But if they refuse, we trust that the Lord will deal with them in His perfect justice. Galatians 6:7 warns, *"Don’t be deceived. God is not mocked, for whatever a man sows, that he will also reap."* They will reap what they have sown.

Now, let us pray for you and your family:

Heavenly Father, we come before You with heavy hearts, lifting up our brother and his family who have been deeply wounded by deceit and injustice. Lord, You see the pain they carry—the sleepless nights, the financial burden, the erosion of trust. You know the weight of the gold loan, the interest that grows daily, and the frustration of seeing the wicked prosper while the righteous suffer. Father, we ask that You would be their strength in this storm. Remind them that You are near to the brokenhearted and save those who are crushed in spirit (Psalm 34:18).

Lord, we pray for justice in this situation. You are a God who executes justice for the oppressed (Psalm 103:6). We ask that You would move in the hearts of this couple who have deceived our brother. Convict them of their sin, Lord. Break their pride and lead them to repentance. If they refuse to turn from their wickedness, we trust that You will deal with them in Your perfect justice. Let them reap what they have sown, not as a means of vengeance, but as a testimony to Your righteousness.

Father, we also pray for provision. You are Jehovah Jireh, the God who provides. Open doors for our brother and his family to find relief from this financial burden. Provide employment opportunities for his family members, as they have asked. Give them favor in the eyes of those who can offer them jobs in the government or public sector. Lord, we pray specifically for the family member who attended the state government recruitment examination. Grant him success, that he may glorify You in his work and share Your love with others.

We pray for the marriage request as well. Lord, You know the desires of their hearts. Raise up a godly spouse for their family member—a man who fears You, who walks in integrity, and who will lead with love and wisdom. Let this marriage be a testimony to Your goodness and a union that honors You.

Father, we ask that You would restore their hope and faith. The enemy has sought to steal their trust in You, but we declare that their faith is not in vain. Remind them of Your promises. Let them see Your hand at work, even in small ways. Heal their hearts from the bitterness and anger that have taken root. Fill them with Your peace, which surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:7).

Lord, we also pray for the other requests they have lifted—employment opportunities for others and education for the poor. You are a God who cares for the marginalized and the oppressed. Open doors for them to be a blessing to others, even as they seek Your blessing for themselves.

Finally, Father, we ask that You would protect their hearts from despair. The enemy wants them to believe that You have abandoned them, but we declare that You are their ever-present help in trouble (Psalm 46:1). Strengthen their faith. Let them see Your goodness in the land of the living (Psalm 27:13). And may they come to know, even in this trial, that You are working all things together for their good (Romans 8:28).

We pray all these things in the mighty name of Jesus, the One who judges justly, the One who provides, and the One who heals the brokenhearted. Amen.

Beloved, we understand that your faith has been shaken, but we urge you not to lose heart. The Lord is not slow concerning His promises (2 Peter 3:9). He is working, even when you cannot see it. Hold fast to His Word. Cling to the truth that He is your Provider, your Defender, and your Justice. Do not let the enemy rob you of your hope. Instead, let this trial refine your faith, making it stronger and more resilient.

We also encourage you to seek legal recourse if you have not already done so. The Lord can use earthly systems to bring about His justice. Proverbs 22:22-23 says, *"Don’t exploit the poor, because he is poor; and don’t crush the needy in court; for Yahweh will plead their case, and plunder the life of those who plunder them."* Trust that the Lord can use the courts to bring about restitution.

Lastly, we want to remind you of the power of forgiveness. This does not mean excusing the sin or pretending it did not happen. Forgiveness is releasing the burden of bitterness and trusting God to handle the rest. Ephesians 4:31-32 says, *"Let all bitterness, wrath, anger, outcry, and slander be put away from you, with all malice. And be kind to one another, tender hearted, forgiving each other, just as God also in Christ forgave you."* Forgiveness is not for their sake but for yours. It frees you from the chains of anger and allows you to walk in the freedom that Christ offers.

You are not alone in this. We stand with you, and more importantly, the Lord stands with you. Keep pressing into Him. Keep seeking His face. And trust that He will make all things right in His perfect timing.

Healed Spirit Soul And Body

We continue to lift you and your family up in prayer, standing with you in this deeply painful and unjust situation. Our hearts ache as we hear the weight of your suffering—the financial burden, the sleepless nights, the erosion of trust, and the way this injustice has shaken your faith. You have carried this heavy cross with honesty and patience, and we do not take lightly the way this trial has tested your hope in God’s goodness.

We pray that the Lord would move in power to expose the deception of those who have wronged you and bring about a just resolution. May He soften their hardened hearts, convict them of their sin, and lead them to repentance—not just for their own sake, but so that you may receive the restitution you are owed. We ask that God would intervene in ways only He can, whether through financial provision, legal recourse, or divine intervention that restores what has been taken from you.

We also pray for your family—for peace to replace anxiety, for unity to replace misunderstanding, and for God’s presence to be a tangible comfort in the midst of this storm. You have asked difficult questions about God’s timing and justice, and we do not dismiss them. Instead, we lift them before the throne, trusting that He hears the cries of the brokenhearted. May He renew your strength, restore your hope, and remind you that He is near to the afflicted.

If this burden has been lifted—if God has moved in ways you’ve seen—we would be overjoyed to celebrate His faithfulness with you. But if the wait continues, we will not grow weary in praying alongside you. You are not forgotten, and neither is your cause. We believe that God sees every tear, every sleepless night, and every act of injustice, and He will not leave it unanswered.

May the Lord bless you with His peace that surpasses understanding, and may He draw you closer to Himself as you continue to seek Him. We pray this in the mighty name of Jesus.
