We come before the Lord with open hearts, lifting up this request for finances and a godly husband. First, we must acknowledge that all blessings flow from God, and it is only through the name of Jesus Christ that we have access to the Father. As it is written in John 14:6, "Jesus said to him, 'I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me.'" If you have not yet surrendered your life to Jesus, we encourage you to do so, for He alone is the source of salvation and provision.
Father God, we lift up this dear one’s financial needs before You. You are Jehovah Jireh, the God who provides, and we trust in Your faithfulness to meet every need according to Your riches in glory. We pray that You would open doors of opportunity, grant wisdom in financial decisions, and bless the work of their hands. Help them to trust in You rather than in uncertain riches, for You have promised in Philippians 4:19, "My God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus." We rebuke any spirit of lack or fear and declare that Your provision is abundant and sure.
We also pray for the desire of their heart—a godly husband. Lord, You know the longings of this one’s heart, and we ask that You would prepare them to be a godly wife, rooted in Your Word and walking in purity and faith. May they seek first Your kingdom and righteousness, trusting that all these things will be added unto them (Matthew 6:33). We pray for a husband who loves You above all else, who will lead with humility, strength, and godly wisdom. May he be a man after Your own heart, committed to Your Word and to the covenant of marriage. We rebuke any impure thoughts, relationships, or desires that do not align with Your will, for marriage is a sacred union between one man and one woman, as You designed from the beginning (Genesis 2:24).
Father, we ask that You would guard their heart and mind in Christ Jesus, that they would not be anxious but would cast all their cares upon You (1 Peter 5:7). Help them to walk in holiness, patience, and trust, knowing that Your timing is perfect. If there are areas where they need to grow—whether in contentment, stewardship, or purity—we pray for conviction and transformation by the power of Your Holy Spirit.
We declare that no weapon formed against them shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17) and that You are working all things together for their good (Romans 8:28). May they find their identity, security, and joy in You alone, for You are their Provider, their Protector, and their eternal Bridegroom.
In the mighty name of Jesus, we pray. Amen.
