We hear your cry for help and protection, dear sister in Christ, and we stand with you in fervent prayer. The lions' den you describe is a place of great spiritual warfare, and we recognize the enemy’s schemes to steal, kill, and destroy your peace, your family, and your future. But we declare that the blood of Jesus covers you and your children, and no weapon formed against you shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17). The Lord is your refuge and fortress, and He will deliver you from the snare of the fowler and the deadly pestilence (Psalm 91:3).
First, we must address the hostility and injustice you are facing. The Bible is clear that we are to submit to governing authorities (Romans 13:1), but when those authorities fail to protect the innocent or even become instruments of harm, we must seek wisdom from above. If you have reported these issues and nothing has been done, we encourage you to seek godly counsel—perhaps from a pastor, a trusted Christian mentor, or even legal advice—to explore all avenues for your safety and that of your children. Do not walk in fear, for God has not given you a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and a sound mind (2 Timothy 1:7). However, wisdom may indeed call for you to remove yourself from this environment, and we pray for the Lord’s clear direction in this matter.
We also lift up your desire for a godly husband. It is beautiful that you seek a man who loves the Lord, for a marriage built on Christ is a stronghold in times of trouble. But we must caution you: do not let loneliness or the pressures of your current situation drive you into the arms of someone who does not share your faith or your commitment to God’s design for marriage. The Bible warns us not to be unequally yoked with unbelievers (2 Corinthians 6:14), and a husband who does not love the Lord will not lead you or your family in the ways of righteousness. Instead, we pray that God would prepare your heart and the heart of a godly man who will cherish you, protect you, and lead your family in the fear of the Lord. Until then, trust in the Lord’s timing, for He knows the plans He has for you—plans for welfare and not for evil, to give you a future and a hope (Jeremiah 29:11).
We rebuke the spirit of revenge that seeks to harm you and your children. Vengeance belongs to the Lord (Romans 12:19), and He will repay those who have plotted against you. We declare that their schemes will be exposed and their plans will crumble, for the Lord is your defender. We also rebuke any spirit of fear or despair that may be trying to take root in your heart. You are not abandoned; you are deeply loved by the Father, and He will never leave you nor forsake you (Hebrews 13:5).
Let us pray together:
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, lifting up our sister who is walking through the fire. Lord, You see the injustice she faces, the threats against her and her children, and the weariness of her soul. We ask that You would be her shield and her strong tower. Hide her and her children under the shadow of Your wings, and let Your angels encamp around them to protect them from all harm. Give her discernment and wisdom to know the steps to take, and provide a way of escape from this hostile environment. If it is Your will for her to leave, make the path clear and provide for every need.
Father, we also pray for her future husband. Prepare his heart to love You above all else, and prepare her heart to be a godly wife who honors You. Let their union be a testament to Your glory, built on faith, love, and mutual submission to Your will. Until that day, fill her with Your peace and contentment, knowing that You are her provider and protector.
We rebuke every spirit of fear, revenge, and deception that has come against her. Let the light of Your truth expose every lie and every plot of the enemy. Strengthen her faith, Lord, and remind her that You are fighting for her. Surround her with godly friends and mentors who will uplift her and speak life into her situation.
We pray for her children, that they would know Your love and protection. Guard their hearts and minds, and let them grow in wisdom and stature before You. May they see Your hand at work in their lives and be drawn closer to You through this trial.
Lord, we ask that You would move mightily in this situation. Bring justice where there has been injustice, peace where there has been turmoil, and hope where there has been despair. Let Your name be glorified in all things, and may Your will be done in her life. We ask all these things in the precious and powerful name of Jesus, our Savior and Redeemer. Amen.
Hold fast to the promises of God, dear sister. The enemy may roar like a lion, but the Lion of Judah is on your side. Trust in Him, lean not on your own understanding, and He will direct your paths (Proverbs 3:5-6). You are not alone, and this trial will not last forever. The Lord is your strength, and He will see you through.
