Beloved of All
Dear Heavenly Father please help my son ### and ### in our house and my parents to sleep peacefully and to not have any nightmares come against them please help them in the evenings every night to sleep easily and peacefully and also restfully in the name of Jesus Christ i pray Amen

We join you in lifting up your family before the Lord, and we are grateful you have invoked the precious name of Jesus Christ in your prayer—for it is only through Him that we have access to the Father, and there is no other name under heaven by which we must be saved. As Scripture declares, *"There is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus"* (1 Timothy 2:5, WEB). Your faith in calling upon His name is a testament to your trust in His power, and we stand with you in this petition.

The Lord is our peace, and He alone can guard our minds and hearts as we rest. The Psalmist reminds us, *"I lay down and slept. I woke up, for Yahweh sustains me"* (Psalm 3:5, WEB). We take comfort in knowing that God neither slumbers nor sleeps (Psalm 121:4), and He is faithful to watch over your son, your household, and your parents each night. Nightmares and restlessness are not from Him, for *"God didn’t give us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and self-control"* (2 Timothy 1:7, WEB). If there are spiritual forces at work seeking to disturb their peace, we stand firmly on the authority of Christ, who has *"disarmed the principalities and the powers... triumphing over them"* (Colossians 2:15, WEB).

Let us also consider whether there are practical steps that can be taken to invite God’s peace into your home. Are there things being watched, read, or listened to that could be opening doors to fear or unrest? Scripture urges us, *"Finally, brothers, whatever things are true, whatever things are honest, whatever things are just, whatever things are pure, whatever things are lovely, whatever things are of good report—if there is any virtue or praise, think about these things"* (Philippians 4:8, WEB). Filling the home with worship, prayer, and the Word of God can create an atmosphere where the enemy cannot thrive.

We encourage you to speak life and Scripture over your family before they sleep. You might declare verses like *"Yahweh, you will keep them in perfect peace, because their mind is stayed on you; because they trust in you"* (Isaiah 26:3, WEB) or *"The angel of Yahweh encamps around those who fear him, and delivers them"* (Psalm 34:7, WEB). There is power in the spoken Word of God, and it brings comfort and protection.

Now, let us pray together:

Heavenly Father, we come before You with grateful hearts, thanking You for the gift of family and for the authority we have in the name of Jesus Christ. Lord, we ask that You surround this household with Your peace—a peace that surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:7). We rebuke any spirit of fear, torment, or restlessness that seeks to disturb the sleep of this family, and we command it to flee in Jesus’ name. Let Your angels encamp around them, Lord, and let no weapon formed against their rest prosper (Isaiah 54:17).

Father, we pray specifically for this mother’s son, that You would fill his mind with Your truth and his heart with Your love as he sleeps. Guard his dreams, Lord, and let him wake refreshed and full of joy. We lift up the parents as well, asking that You would quiet their hearts and bodies, removing any anxiety or physical discomfort that hinders their rest. May their sleep be deep, their breathing steady, and their minds at ease, knowing You are their Keeper.

Lord, we also ask that You reveal any areas in their lives or home that may be giving the enemy a foothold. Give them wisdom to remove anything that does not honor You, and fill their home with Your presence. Let worship and prayer be the foundation of their evenings, and may Your Word be a lamp to their feet even as they sleep.

We thank You, Father, for Your faithfulness. You are the God who neither slumbers nor sleeps, and we trust You to watch over this family night after night. Let them experience Your rest as a testimony of Your goodness, and may they wake each morning with praise on their lips. We ask all this in the mighty and holy name of Jesus Christ, our Savior and Redeemer. Amen.

Finally, we encourage you to continue standing in faith, knowing that *"the prayer of faith will save the sick, and the Lord will raise him up"* (James 5:15, WEB). Keep declaring God’s promises over your family, and trust that He is working even as you rest. If fear or doubt arise, cling to the truth that *"perfect love casts out fear"* (1 John 4:18, WEB), and His love for you and your family is boundless. Stay steadfast in prayer, and may the Lord grant you all a season of deep, unshaken rest.

We're right there with you, sister, lifting up your precious family before our Heavenly Father. We've been where you are, and we know the power of a mother's prayer. Let's claim these promises together:

"Peace I leave with you, my peace I give to you. Not as the world gives do I give to you. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid." (John 14:27, WEB)

"In peace I will both lie down and sleep, for You alone, Yahweh, make me dwell in safety." (Psalm 4:8, WEB)

Let's declare these verses over your son and your parents tonight. As you tuck them in, speak life and peace into their hearts. Remind them that God is their refuge and strength, always ready to help in times of trouble (Psalm 46:1, WEB).

We also encourage you to make your home a sanctuary of worship. Play soft, soothing music, and let the words of praise fill the air. Light a candle, symbolizing God's presence in your home, and pray together as a family before bed.

Remember, dear one, God is faithful. He sees your family, He loves your family, and He will guard their sleep. Trust in Him, and rest in His peace. We're praying with you, and we believe that God will answer your prayers in Jesus' mighty name. Amen.
