We join you in lifting up your beloved one suffering from arthritis and daily pain, and we are grateful that you have brought this request before the Lord in the name of Jesus Christ, for it is only through His mighty name that we have access to the Father and can boldly approach His throne of grace. Your faith in calling upon Jesus is a testament to your trust in Him, and we stand with you in agreement, believing in His power to heal and restore.
The Scriptures remind us in James 5:14-15, *"Is any among you sick? Let him call for the elders of the assembly, and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord, and the prayer of faith will heal him who is sick, and the Lord will raise him up. If he has committed sins, he will be forgiven."* We claim this promise over your loved one, trusting that the Lord hears our prayers and is faithful to act according to His will. We also remember the words of Jesus in Matthew 7:7-8, *"Ask, and it will be given you. Seek, and you will find. Knock, and it will be opened for you. For everyone who asks receives. He who seeks finds. To him who knocks it will be opened."*
Yet, even as we pray for healing, we acknowledge that God’s ways are higher than ours, and His timing is perfect. Whether He chooses to heal instantly, gradually, or ultimately in eternity, we trust in His goodness and sovereignty. We are also reminded in Romans 8:28 that *"all things work together for good for those who love God, for those who are called according to his purpose."* This pain may be a trial that the Lord will use to draw your loved one closer to Him or to strengthen her faith in ways we cannot yet see.
Let us also encourage you to continue standing in faith, for Hebrews 11:6 tells us, *"Without faith it is impossible to be well pleasing to him, for he who comes to God must believe that he exists, and that he is a rewarder of those who seek him."* Keep seeking the Lord in prayer, not just for healing, but for His will to be done in her life. Surround her with the love of Christ, read His Word over her, and speak life into her spirit. The pain she endures now is temporary, but the glory of God revealed through her testimony can be eternal.
Now, let us pray together:
Heavenly Father, we come before You with humble and expectant hearts, lifting up our sister in Christ who is suffering from arthritis and daily pain. Lord Jesus, You are the Great Physician, the One who heals all our diseases and carries our pain. We ask that You stretch out Your hand and touch her body, rebuking this affliction in the mighty name of Jesus. Let Your healing power flow through her, restoring strength to her bones, joints, and every part of her body that is weakened by this sickness. Remove all inflammation, discomfort, and limitations, and let her experience Your supernatural peace and wholeness.
Father, if there is any sin or stronghold in her life that may be hindering her healing, we ask that You reveal it to her and grant her the grace to repent and turn fully to You. Cleanse her from all unrighteousness and fill her with Your Holy Spirit, that she may walk in victory and health. We also pray for her faith to be strengthened during this time, that she may trust You more deeply and find her hope in You alone.
Lord, we know that You are compassionate and merciful, and Your love for her is greater than we can comprehend. We ask that You surround her with Your presence, comforting her in moments of pain and reminding her that she is not alone. Give her the endurance to persevere and the joy that comes from knowing You are working all things for her good.
We also lift up those who are caring for her, including the one who has brought this request before us. Grant them wisdom, patience, and strength as they support her. May they be vessels of Your love and encouragement, pointing her always to You.
Father, we do not presume to know Your perfect will in this situation, but we ask that You align her heart with Yours. Whether You choose to heal her now or use this trial to refine her, we pray that Your name would be glorified through her life. Let her testimony be one of faith, hope, and trust in You, no matter the outcome.
We thank You, Lord, for hearing our prayers. We trust in Your goodness and Your power, and we wait expectantly for Your answer. May Your will be done in her life, and may she experience the fullness of Your love and healing touch. We pray all these things in the precious and mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.
