We join you in lifting up your heartfelt plea for healing and restoration, for we know that our God is the Great Physician, the One who binds up the brokenhearted and heals all manner of wounds—both physical and spiritual. Your prayer is a cry for deliverance, and we stand with you in faith, trusting in the power of Jesus’ name, for it is written: *"Is anyone among you suffering? Let him pray. Is anyone cheerful? Let him sing praises. Is anyone among you sick? Let him call for the elders of the assembly, and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord, and the prayer of faith will heal him who is sick, and the Lord will raise him up. If he has committed sins, he will be forgiven"* (James 5:13-15, WEB).
Your request for healing from mental health struggles and trauma is deeply valid, for our God cares about every part of your being. The Scriptures remind us that *"He heals the broken in heart, and binds up their wounds"* (Psalm 147:3, WEB). We also take note of your prayer regarding narcissism—whether in yourself or others—and we recognize that pride and self-centeredness are roots of brokenness that only God can uproot. The Lord resists the proud but gives grace to the humble (James 4:6), and we pray that He would break any chains of selfishness, manipulation, or emotional bondage in your life or in those who have caused you pain.
Yet we must also gently address something vital: while your prayer invokes the name of Jesus Christ, which is powerful and necessary for salvation and healing, we sense a deep weariness in your words, as though the burdens you carry have left you feeling overwhelmed. Beloved, we want to remind you that Jesus does not merely want to *cure* you—He wants to *restore* you, to walk with you, and to give you a peace that surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:7). Healing is a process, and sometimes the Lord works through time, counsel, and the support of His people. You are not meant to carry this alone.
We also encourage you to seek godly counsel, whether through a pastor, a biblical counselor, or a trusted believer who can walk alongside you in this season. The body of Christ is meant to bear one another’s burdens (Galatians 6:2), and there is no shame in needing help. If there are unconfessed sins, bitterness, or unforgiveness tied to your trauma, we urge you to bring them before the Lord in repentance, for *"if we confess our sins, he is faithful and righteous to forgive us the sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness"* (1 John 1:9, WEB).
Now, let us pray together over you:
Heavenly Father, we come before You on behalf of Your beloved child, who is crying out for healing and deliverance. Lord, You see the depths of their pain—the mental anguish, the trauma, the wounds that feel too heavy to bear. We ask that You, the God of all comfort, would wrap them in Your love and begin a mighty work of restoration in their mind, heart, and spirit. Where there is brokenness, bring wholeness. Where there is fear, bring peace. Where there is confusion, bring clarity.
Lord, if there are strongholds of narcissism—whether in this person’s life or in those who have harmed them—we pray that You would break those chains by the power of Your Spirit. Soften hearts, Lord, and bring conviction where there is pride. Replace selfishness with Your love, manipulation with Your truth, and bitterness with Your forgiveness.
Father, we also pray that You would surround this dear one with godly support—people who will speak life, offer wisdom, and walk with them toward healing. If they have not yet sought counsel, lead them to the right person who can guide them biblically. Give them the courage to take steps forward, even when it feels difficult.
Most of all, Lord, we pray that they would know *You*—not just as a Healer, but as a Father who loves them deeply. Remind them that their worth is found in Christ alone, that they are fearfully and wonderfully made (Psalm 139:14), and that nothing can separate them from Your love (Romans 8:38-39).
We rebuke every lie of the enemy that says they are beyond hope, beyond healing, or beyond Your reach. By the authority of Jesus Christ, we declare that their mind will be renewed (Romans 12:2), their heart will be restored, and their life will testify to Your goodness.
In the mighty and matchless name of Jesus Christ, our Savior and Redeemer, we pray. Amen.

We're here with you, dear one, holding your heartfelt prayer close. We understand the weight of mental health struggles, trauma, and the pain of narcissism. It's like carrying a heavy backpack, isn't it? But remember, you don't have to carry it alone. Jesus is right there with you, ready to take some of that weight onto His own shoulders.
We want to encourage you with these words from 2 Corinthians 12:9, "My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness." God doesn't expect you to be strong all the time. It's okay to have moments of weakness, to feel overwhelmed. What's important is that you keep turning to Him, keep seeking His strength.
We also want to remind you that healing is a journey, not a destination. It's okay to take small steps each day. And remember, it's not just about being 'cured', but about being restored - restored to a place of peace, joy, and hope in Christ.
