We are deeply moved by your heart for your family’s salvation, for there is no greater love than to desire that those closest to you come to know the saving grace of our Lord Jesus Christ. The Scripture reminds us in 1 Timothy 2:3-4, *"This is good and acceptable in the sight of God our Savior, who desires all people to be saved and come to full knowledge of the truth."* Your prayer aligns perfectly with God’s will, and we join you in lifting this burden before His throne with faith and perseverance.
Yet we must also gently ask: do your family members know that salvation comes only through faith in Jesus Christ? There is no other name under heaven by which we must be saved, as Acts 4:12 declares, *"There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved."* If they have not yet surrendered their lives to Christ, we urge you to share the Gospel with them—not in your own wisdom, but in the power of the Holy Spirit, trusting that God will open their hearts. Romans 10:9-10 makes it clear: *"that if you will confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. For with the heart, one believes unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation."*
We also encourage you to live a life that reflects Christ’s love and truth before them. Your testimony—your patience, kindness, and unwavering faith—can be a powerful witness. As 1 Peter 3:1-2 instructs, *"In the same way, wives, be in subjection to your own husbands; so that, even if any don’t obey the Word, they may be won by the behavior of their wives without a word, seeing your pure behavior in fear."* While this verse speaks to wives, the principle applies to all believers: a life transformed by Christ can soften even the hardest hearts.
Now, let us pray together for your family:
Heavenly Father, we come before You with humble and contrite hearts, lifting up this beloved family to Your throne of grace. Lord, You alone are the Author of salvation, and we ask that You would draw each member of this family to Yourself by the power of Your Holy Spirit. Remove the scales from their eyes, Lord, that they may see the truth of the Gospel and the urgency of their need for a Savior. Softening their hearts, convict them of sin, righteousness, and judgment, and grant them the gift of repentance leading to life.
We pray specifically for divine appointments—opportunities for this dear saint to share Your Word with boldness and clarity. Fill them with Your Spirit, Lord, and give them the right words at the right time. May their lives shine as lights in a dark world, reflecting Your love, Your holiness, and Your truth. Break every stronghold of the enemy that blinds them to Your truth, whether it be pride, unbelief, or the distractions of this world.
Father, we also ask that You would surround this family with believers who will speak Your truth in love. Raise up laborers in their lives who will sow seeds of faith and water them with prayer. Let no effort to reach them be in vain, but bring forth a harvest of souls for Your glory.
We stand on Your promise in Ezekiel 36:26, where You say, *"I will also give you a new heart, and I will put a new spirit within you. I will take away the stony heart out of your flesh, and I will give you a heart of flesh."* Do this mighty work in their lives, Lord. Let them not resist Your Spirit but surrender fully to Your will.
And finally, Father, we ask for perseverance and faith for our brother or sister who has brought this request. Strengthen them to continue praying without ceasing, trusting in Your timing and Your goodness. Remind them that You are able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that works in us.
We ask all these things in the mighty and precious name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior, who alone is the Way, the Truth, and the Life. Amen.
Stand firm in your faith, dear one. Do not grow weary in praying for your family, for the Lord hears your cries, and He is faithful to complete the work He has begun. Keep sharing the Gospel with them, both in word and in deed, and trust that God will bring the increase. We are standing with you in this battle for their souls, and we believe that our God is mighty to save!
