We lift up this precious sister and her two children before the Lord, knowing that He is their Provider, Protector, and Peace in every circumstance. Though we do not know her name, God knows her intimately—He sees her struggles, hears her cries, and holds her future in His hands. The Scriptures remind us in **Matthew 6:8**, *"Your Father knows what things you need before you ask him."* And again in **Psalm 55:22**, *"Cast your burden on Yahweh, and he will sustain you. He will never allow the righteous to be moved."* We cling to these promises as we intercede for her and her children, trusting that God is working even in the unseen.
First, we must address a critical truth: salvation and access to God’s throne come *only* through faith in Jesus Christ. There is no other name by which we can be saved, as **Acts 4:12** declares, *"There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved!"* If this sister does not yet know Jesus as her Lord and Savior, we pray that the Holy Spirit would draw her to Himself, opening her heart to receive His grace and forgiveness. May she surrender her life to Christ, finding eternal hope and daily strength in Him. For it is in *His name* that we boldly approach God’s throne, as **Hebrews 4:16** assures us: *"Let’s therefore draw near with boldness to the throne of grace, that we may receive mercy and may find grace for help in time of need."*
We pray for her spiritual walk—if she is a believer, may she be rooted deeply in Christ, abiding in His Word and finding her identity in Him alone. If she is not yet saved, we plead for the Lord to send laborers across her path to share the Gospel with her, that she and her children may come to know the saving power of Jesus. Without Him, all other prayers are like chasing the wind. But *in Christ*, all things are possible, and He is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all we ask or think.
For her children, we ask the Lord to be their Shepherd, guiding their steps and shielding their hearts from the evils of this world. May they be raised in the nurture and admonition of the Lord, as **Ephesians 6:4** instructs, and may they come to know Jesus at a young age. We pray for their protection—physically, emotionally, and spiritually—and that the Lord would surround them with godly influences, teachers, and mentors who will point them to Him.
If this sister is facing financial hardship, we declare **Philippians 4:19** over her: *"My God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus."* We ask the Lord to provide for her in miraculous ways, opening doors for stable work, wise stewardship, and unexpected blessings. May she experience the truth of **Matthew 6:33**, *"But seek first God’s Kingdom and his righteousness; and all these things will be given to you as well."* Let her trust not in her own strength but in the Lord’s faithfulness, which never fails.
If she is carrying burdens of fear, anxiety, or loneliness, we speak **2 Timothy 1:7** over her: *"For God didn’t give us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and self-control."* May the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, guard her heart and mind in Christ Jesus (**Philippians 4:7**). Let her cast all her cares upon Him, for He cares for her (**1 Peter 5:7**).
We also pray for her relationships—if she is married, may her marriage be a reflection of Christ’s love for the Church, with both she and her husband submitting to one another in the fear of God (**Ephesians 5:21-33**). If she is single, we pray for godly wisdom in raising her children and for the Lord to prepare her heart for marriage *if it is His will*, that she may one day be united with a man who loves the Lord and leads his family in righteousness. If she is in a relationship outside of marriage, we urge her to seek purity and holiness, fleeing from fornication, which is a sin against her own body and the temple of the Holy Spirit (**1 Corinthians 6:18-20**). Marriage is sacred, and intimacy is a gift reserved for the covenant of marriage alone.
If she is in a situation where she is living with someone outside of marriage, we lovingly but firmly rebuke this arrangement, for it is not pleasing to God. **Hebrews 13:4** states, *"Let marriage be held in honor among all, and let the bed be undefiled; but God will judge the sexually immoral and adulterers."* We pray for conviction and repentance, that she would turn away from any sinful living arrangements and seek the Lord’s design for family. If she is cohabiting with a man who is not her husband, we pray for the strength to separate from this sin, trusting God to provide another way. His grace is sufficient, and His power is made perfect in weakness (**2 Corinthians 12:9**).
Lastly, we pray for her to be planted in a Bible-believing church where she can grow in her faith, receive sound teaching, and find community with other believers. Iron sharpens iron (**Proverbs 27:17**), and she needs the body of Christ to walk alongside her in this season.
**Our Prayer:**
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, lifting up this sister and her two children. Lord, You are the Father to the fatherless and the Defender of widows (**Psalm 68:5**), and we ask You to be their ever-present help in trouble. If she does not know You, Lord, we pray that today would be the day of salvation for her and her household. Open her eyes to see Your love displayed on the cross, where Jesus paid the penalty for her sins. Draw her to Yourself, Lord, and let her find rest in Your finished work.
For her children, we ask that You would be their Guardian and Guide. Protect them from harm, both seen and unseen, and let their young hearts be tender to Your Spirit. Raise them up to be mighty warriors for Your Kingdom, walking in purity and truth.
Provide for their every need, Lord—financially, emotionally, and spiritually. You own the cattle on a thousand hills (**Psalm 50:10**), and nothing is too difficult for You. We ask for Your supernatural provision, that she may lack no good thing as she seeks You first.
If she is walking in sin, convict her by Your Spirit and lead her to repentance. Break any ungodly soul ties or living arrangements that dishonor You. Give her the courage to obey Your Word, even when it is hard. Surround her with godly counsel and support as she walks in holiness.
Strengthen her, Lord, when she is weak. Comfort her when she is weary. Remind her that she is not alone, for You are with her always (**Matthew 28:20**). Let her find her hope in You, her joy in Your presence, and her peace in Your promises.
We declare Your victory over her life and the lives of her children. May they be a testimony of Your goodness and faithfulness. Let Your light shine through them, drawing others to Yourself.
In the precious and powerful name of Jesus we pray, **Amen.**
