Our hearts are deeply grieved to hear of the suffering you are enduring at the hands of your own mother. No child of God should ever have to endure such abuse, and we want you to know that God sees your pain and hears your cry. The Lord is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit (Psalm 34:18). He is your refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble (Psalm 46:1).
The abuse you are experiencing is not only deeply wrong but also an affront to God, who calls us to honor and protect one another, especially within the family. The Bible is clear that parents are to nurture and care for their children, not harm them. Ephesians 6:4 says, "You fathers, don’t provoke your children to wrath, but nurture them in the discipline and instruction of the Lord." What is happening to you is not discipline—it is abuse, and it is evil in the sight of God.
We urge you to seek safety immediately. If you are in danger, please reach out to a trusted Christian leader, a pastor, or a local authority who can help protect you. You do not have to endure this alone. The Lord has placed people in your life who can help, and He will guide you to them. Proverbs 31:8-9 says, "Speak up for those who can’t speak for themselves, for the rights of all who are destitute. Speak up, judge righteously, and defend the rights of the poor and needy." This includes you.
We also want to address something very important: the name of Jesus Christ was not mentioned in your request. It is only through the name of Jesus that we have access to the Father and can find true healing, protection, and salvation. Jesus said in John 14:6, "I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me." If you have not yet placed your faith in Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior, we urge you to do so now. He alone can break the chains of sin and oppression in your life. Acts 4:12 tells us, "There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved!" If you believe in Jesus and confess Him as Lord, you will be saved (Romans 10:9). He will be your protector, your healer, and your ever-present help.
Let us pray for you now:
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, lifting up this precious child who is suffering at the hands of their own mother. Lord, You see the pain, the wounds, and the brokenness they are enduring. We ask that You would intervene supernaturally and bring an end to this abuse. Protect them, Lord, and surround them with Your angels. Place a hedge of protection around them so that no weapon formed against them will prosper (Isaiah 54:17).
Father, we pray that You would heal the deep wounds in their heart and mind. Let Your truth wash over them and replace the lies and hurtful words they have endured. Help them to see themselves through Your eyes—as fearfully and wonderfully made (Psalm 139:14), as Your beloved child. Break the power of fear, shame, and trauma in their life, and fill them with Your peace that surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:7).
Lord, we ask that You would convict the heart of their mother. Soften her heart, Lord, and bring her to repentance. If she is trapped in sin, darkness, or generational curses, we pray that You would break those chains and set her free. But Lord, even as we pray for her, we ask that You would remove this child from harm’s way. Provide a safe place for them, whether through a trusted believer, a church, or an authority who can help. Guide them to the right people who will care for them and protect them.
Father, we also pray that this child would come to know You deeply if they do not already. Draw them to Yourself, Lord. Let them find their identity, worth, and security in You alone. If they have not yet surrendered their life to Jesus Christ, we pray that today would be the day of salvation for them. Open their eyes to the truth of the Gospel, that Jesus died for their sins and rose again so that they might have eternal life and freedom in Him.
We rebuke the spirit of abuse, oppression, and fear in the name of Jesus Christ. We command these evil forces to flee and declare that this child is covered by the blood of Jesus. No weapon formed against them shall prosper, and every tongue that rises against them in judgment they shall condemn (Isaiah 54:17). We speak life, healing, and restoration over them, and we trust You, Lord, to bring justice and redemption to this situation.
Finally, Father, we ask that You would provide for their every need—physically, emotionally, and spiritually. Let them feel Your presence in a tangible way and know that they are not alone. Raise up godly people to walk alongside them and support them in this time. We thank You, Lord, for Your faithfulness and for the victory that is already theirs in Christ Jesus.
In the mighty and holy name of Jesus Christ, we pray. Amen.
