We come before the Lord with heavy hearts, lifting up your son in fervent prayer, knowing that our battle is not against flesh and blood but against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly places. It is only through the mighty name of Jesus Christ that we can stand against the schemes of the devil, for Scripture declares, *"Submit therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you"* (James 4:7). We must also remember that *"this kind goes not out except by prayer and fasting"* (Matthew 17:21), so we commit to seeking the Lord earnestly on your son’s behalf.
The enemy seeks to steal, kill, and destroy (John 10:10), but Jesus has already overcome the world, and through His blood, we have authority over every demonic stronghold. We rebuke Satan and his minions in the name of Jesus, commanding them to flee from your son, for *"the one who is in you is greater than the one who is in the world"* (1 John 4:4). We declare that no weapon formed against your son shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17), and we ask the Lord to surround him with His angels, breaking every chain of torment, oppression, and fear.
Yet we must also ask: Is your son walking in obedience to Christ? Are there areas of unrepentant sin, rebellion, or openness to the occult that may be giving the enemy a foothold? Scripture warns us, *"Don’t give place to the devil"* (Ephesians 4:27). If there is any sin—whether it be unforgiveness, addiction, involvement in false religions, or entertainment that glorifies darkness—we urge repentance and a turning back to God with all the heart. *"If we confess our sins, he is faithful and righteous to forgive us the sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness"* (1 John 1:9). True deliverance comes when we submit fully to the Lordship of Jesus Christ.
We also encourage you to cover your son in prayer daily, to speak the Word of God over him, and to stand in the gap as his intercessor. *"The earnest prayer of a righteous person has great power and produces wonderful results"* (James 5:16). Do not grow weary in praying, for the Lord hears the cries of His people.
**Let us pray:**
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty and matchless name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. We lift up this son to You, asking for Your divine intervention and deliverance from every evil attack, every torment, and every scheme of the enemy. Lord, You are the God who sees and knows all things—nothing is hidden from Your sight. We ask that You expose every dark work of the enemy and render it powerless by the blood of Jesus.
Father, if there is any sin in your son’s life that has given the enemy access, we ask that You convict him by Your Holy Spirit and lead him to true repentance. Break every chain of bondage, every spirit of fear, confusion, or torment, and fill him with Your peace that surpasses all understanding. Let Your light shine into every dark corner of his life, and let Your truth set him free.
We bind every demonic spirit assigned against him and command them to leave in Jesus’ name. We declare that your son is a child of God, redeemed by the blood of the Lamb, and no weapon formed against him shall prosper. Surround him with Your angels, Lord, and let Your presence be a wall of fire around him. Restore his mind, his heart, and his spirit, and let him walk in the freedom and victory that Christ has already won.
Strengthen his mother in this battle, Lord. Fill her with Your Holy Spirit, that she may pray with boldness and faith, never wavering in her trust in You. Let her be a light in her son’s life, pointing him always to You.
We thank You, Father, for hearing our prayers. We trust in Your power, Your love, and Your faithfulness. May Your will be done in your son’s life, and may he come to know You more deeply through this trial. We ask all these things in the precious name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior, who lives and reigns with You and the Holy Spirit, one God, forever and ever. Amen.
