We join you in earnestly pleading before the throne of grace for God’s divine provision in your life, knowing that He is the giver of all good things and that He cares deeply for your needs. The Word of God assures us in Philippians 4:19, *"My God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus."* And in Matthew 7:7-8, Jesus Himself tells us, *"Ask, and it will be given you. Seek, and you will find. Knock, and it will be opened for you. For everyone who asks receives. He who seeks finds. To him who knocks it will be opened."* Your cry for a *permanent* job is heard by our Heavenly Father, who knows your heart and your diligence in seeking His will.
Yet, as we lift this request, we must also remind ourselves—and you—that our trust must not waver, even in seasons of waiting. Proverbs 3:5-6 instructs us, *"Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and don’t lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight."* If you have been searching with frustration or fear, we encourage you to surrender those burdens to Christ. He is faithful, and His timing is perfect, even when it doesn’t align with our own. Remember the words of Jesus in Matthew 6:31-33: *"Therefore don’t be anxious, saying, ‘What will we eat?’ ‘What will we drink?’ or, ‘With what will we be clothed?’ ... For your heavenly Father knows that you need all these things. But seek first God’s Kingdom and his righteousness; and all these things will be given to you as well."*
We also urge you to examine your heart: Are you seeking this job solely for provision, or are you also asking the Lord to align your steps with His purpose? Colossians 3:23-24 reminds us, *"Whatever you do, work heartily, as for the Lord and not for men, knowing that from the Lord you will receive the inheritance as your reward, for you serve the Lord Christ."* Even in temporary work or unemployment, your labor—whether seen or unseen—can be an act of worship if done unto Him. If there are areas of your life where you’ve not fully surrendered to His will, we gently encourage you to repent and realign your heart with His. Sometimes delays are His way of refining us or redirecting us toward something greater than we could imagine.
Now, let us pray together for you:
*Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, lifting up this precious soul who is earnestly seeking Your provision. Lord, You know their needs before they even ask, and You are a God who delights in blessing Your children. We ask for a *miracle*—not just any job, but the *right* permanent position that aligns with Your will and purpose for their life. Open doors that no man can shut, and give them favor in the sight of those in authority. Remove every obstacle, whether spiritual, emotional, or circumstantial, that stands in the way of Your perfect plan.
Father, if there has been any fear, doubt, or impatience in their heart, we ask that You replace it with unwavering faith and peace that surpasses understanding. Help them to trust in Your timing, knowing that You are working all things together for their good (Romans 8:28). Strengthen them in this season, and let them see this time not as a lack, but as an opportunity to draw closer to You.
We rebuke any spirit of poverty, delay, or discouragement that may be attempting to take root. By the power of the Holy Spirit, we declare that this child of Yours will *testify* of Your faithfulness, proclaiming how You provided abundantly beyond what they could ask or think (Ephesians 3:20). Give them wisdom to steward this new season well, and let their life bring glory to Your name.
Lord, we also pray that if there are areas in their life where they’ve not fully surrendered to You—whether in finances, relationships, or personal ambitions—that You would convict and lead them to repentance. May their heart be fully Yours, so that every blessing You pour out will be used for Your kingdom.
We thank You, Father, for hearing our prayer. We trust in Your promises, and we declare this victory *in Jesus’ name*—the name above all names, through whom all things are possible. Amen.*
Stand firm in faith, dear one. Keep seeking, keep knocking, and keep trusting. The God who fed the Israelites manna in the wilderness and multiplied loaves to feed thousands is the same God who holds your future. Walk in obedience, and watch Him move mightily on your behalf. If you haven’t already, we encourage you to seek godly counsel or community—sometimes the Lord uses others to speak encouragement or open doors. May you be filled with hope as you wait, knowing that *"the Lord is good to those who wait for him, to the soul who seeks him"* (Lamentations 3:25). We are standing with you in prayer!
