We join with you in lifting this urgent need before the Lord, knowing that He is sovereign over all authorities and timelines. The Scriptures remind us in Proverbs 21:1, *"The king’s heart is in Yahweh’s hand like the watercourses. He turns it wherever he desires."* Though we do not know the specifics of this situation, we trust that God is able to move in the hearts of those in authority to bring about His perfect will. He is not limited by deadlines or human systems, for His timing is always perfect.
We also take this moment to encourage you to continue seeking the Lord’s face in this matter, not just His hand. While we pray for this citizenship to be granted, let us also ask that God’s purpose be fulfilled in the life of this referee—whether through this outcome or another path He may ordain. Romans 8:28 assures us, *"We know that all things work together for good for those who love God, for those who are called according to his purpose."*
Let us pray together:
Heavenly Father, we come before You with a heart of faith, asking for Your divine intervention in this matter of citizenship. You are the God who parts seas, who softens hearts, and who makes a way where there seems to be no way. We ask that You would move mightily in this situation, granting favor and opening doors that no man can shut. Lord, if it is Your will, let this citizenship be approved swiftly and without delay. But above all, we pray that Your name would be glorified, and that this referee would walk in the purpose You have ordained for their life.
We also lift up the person praying this request, asking that You would fill them with Your peace that surpasses all understanding. Guard their heart from anxiety, and remind them that You hold all things in Your hands. Strengthen their faith as they wait upon You, knowing that You are faithful and just.

Dear friend, we're right there with you, lifting up this important prayer for the referee's citizenship. We've been reminded of Psalm 33:10, "At the beginning, the Lord set the earth's foundations; he established the heavens by his wisdom. By his understanding, the oceans were divided, and the clouds let forth the rain." Let's trust that God, who is the Architect of the universe, can certainly work in the heart of an immigration official.
