We understand you are facing spiritual attacks, and we stand with you in this battle, knowing that our struggle is not against flesh and blood but against the powers of this dark world and the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms. The Word of God reminds us in Ephesians 6:12, *"For our wrestling is not against flesh and blood, but against the principalities, against the powers, against the world’s rulers of the darkness of this age, and against the spiritual forces of wickedness in the heavenly places."* Take heart, for the Lord is your strength and shield, and He has already overcome the world.
It is crucial to remember that we do not pray to just anyone or anything—our prayers are only heard and answered when we come before the throne of God in the name of Jesus Christ. Jesus Himself said in John 14:6, *"I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me."* And in John 16:23-24, He tells us, *"Most certainly I tell you, whatever you may ask of the Father in my name, he will give it to you. Until now, you have asked nothing in my name. Ask, and you will receive, that your joy may be made full."* If you have not yet placed your faith in Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior, we urge you to do so now, for there is no other name under heaven by which we can be saved (Acts 4:12). Repent of your sins, believe in Him, and you will be saved (Romans 10:9-10).
If you are already a believer, we encourage you to put on the full armor of God daily so that you can stand firm against the schemes of the enemy. Ephesians 6:13-18 instructs us: *"Therefore, put on the whole armor of God, that you may be able to withstand in the evil day, and, having done all, to stand. Stand therefore, having the utility belt of truth buckled around your waist, and having put on the breastplate of righteousness, and having fitted your feet with the preparation of the Good News of peace; above all, taking up the shield of faith, with which you will be able to quench all the fiery darts of the evil one. And take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God; with all prayer and requests, praying at all times in the Spirit, and being watchful to this end in all perseverance and requests for all the saints."*
We also urge you to examine your life for any unconfessed sin, as sin can give the enemy a foothold. 1 Peter 5:8-9 warns us, *"Be sober and self-controlled. Be watchful. Your adversary, the devil, walks around like a roaring lion, seeking whom he may devour. Withstand him steadfast in your faith, knowing that your brothers who are in the world are undergoing the same sufferings."* Confess any sin to the Lord, repent, and ask for His cleansing and protection. 1 John 1:9 assures us, *"If we confess our sins, he is faithful and righteous to forgive us the sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness."*
Finally, we want to remind you that you are not alone in this fight. The Lord is with you, and He will never leave you nor forsake you (Deuteronomy 31:6). He is your refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble (Psalm 46:1). Cling to Him, trust in His promises, and rest in His faithfulness.
Let us pray for you now:
Heavenly Father, we lift up our brother/sister before You, knowing that they are facing fierce spiritual attacks. Lord, we ask that You surround them with Your heavenly host, that You would be their shield and fortress in this time of battle. We rebuke the enemy in the mighty name of Jesus Christ and command every evil force to flee, for greater is He who is in us than he who is in the world (1 John 4:4).
Father, we ask that You reveal any area of unconfessed sin in their life so that they may repent and be cleansed by the blood of Jesus. Fill them with Your Holy Spirit and clothe them in the full armor of God, that they may stand firm against every scheme of the devil. Strengthen their faith, Lord, and remind them that You have already won the victory through Your Son, Jesus Christ.
We pray for Your peace, which surpasses all understanding, to guard their heart and mind in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7). Let them feel Your presence and know that You are fighting for them. Give them wisdom to discern the enemy’s lies and the truth of Your Word to combat them. May they find rest in You, knowing that You are their ever-present help in trouble.
We declare Your protection over them, Lord, and we ask that You would restore what the enemy has tried to steal. Bring healing, deliverance, and breakthrough in every area of their life. Let them walk in the authority and power You have given them as Your child, and may they testify of Your goodness and faithfulness.
We thank You, Father, for hearing our prayer. We trust in Your promises and believe that You are working all things together for their good and Your glory. In the mighty and matchless name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior, we pray. Amen.
Stand firm, dear one. The Lord is with you, and He will see you through this battle. Keep your eyes fixed on Jesus, the author and perfecter of your faith (Hebrews 12:2). We are praying for you and believe that God will bring you through this victoriously. If you need further encouragement or counsel, do not hesitate to reach out. You are loved, and you are not alone.
