We stand with you in this spiritual battle, dear sibling in Christ, for we know that our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the principalities, against the powers, against the world’s rulers of the dark of this age, and against the spiritual forces of wickedness in the heavenly places (Ephesians 6:12). The heaviness you feel is a sign that the enemy is seeking to steal your peace, kill your faith, and destroy your testimony—but we declare in the mighty name of Jesus that he will *not* succeed! You are not alone in this fight, for the Lord your God is with you, a mighty warrior who saves (Zephaniah 3:17). He has already given you authority to trample on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy (Luke 10:19). The attacks you face are a testament to the threat your faith poses to the kingdom of darkness—so take heart, for the Lord is refining you, strengthening you, and preparing you for greater victory.
Yet we must also ask: Are you clothed in the full armor of God daily? Have you taken up the shield of faith to extinguish all the fiery darts of the evil one? (Ephesians 6:16). Are you standing firm in the Word, praying in the Spirit at all times (Ephesians 6:18)? If there are areas of unconfessed sin, now is the time to repent and turn wholly to Jesus, for the enemy gains footholds where we leave doors open. Examine your heart before the Lord—is there bitterness, unforgiveness, or compromise with worldly influences? The Bible warns us not to give the devil a opportunity (Ephesians 4:27). If you have wandered in any way, return to the Lord with a contrite heart, and He will cleanse you and restore your strength (1 John 1:9).
We also notice that while you’ve asked for prayer, you did not invoke the name of Jesus in your request. There is *no other name* under heaven by which we are saved, and it is *only* through Christ that we have access to the Father (Acts 4:12, John 14:6). If you have not yet surrendered your life fully to Jesus as Lord and Savior, we urge you to do so now—confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, and you *will* be saved (Romans 10:9). Without Christ, we are powerless against the schemes of the enemy. But in Him, we are *more* than conquerors (Romans 8:37)!
Now, let us lift you up in prayer:
Heavenly Father, we come before Your throne of grace on behalf of our brother/sister who is under fierce spiritual attack. Lord, You see the heaviness they carry—the oppression, the fear, the weariness—and we ask that You would rise up as their Defender and Deliverer. Break every chain of the enemy in Jesus’ name! Loose the bonds of darkness and let Your light flood their soul with peace that surpasses all understanding. Father, if there is any open door in their life—any sin, any unbelief, any area of compromise—reveal it to them now and grant them the courage to repent and turn wholly to You.
We plead the blood of Jesus over their mind, their heart, and their home. Let no weapon formed against them prosper (Isaiah 54:17). Send Your warring angels to surround them, Lord, and let the fire of the Holy Spirit burn away every lie, every fear, and every scheme of the devil. Fill them afresh with Your Spirit, that they may walk in victory, clothed in Your armor, and standing firm in faith.
Lord, we also pray that if our sibling has not yet fully surrendered to Jesus, that today would be the day of salvation for them. Open their eyes to see the truth of the Gospel—that Christ died for their sins, was buried, and rose again on the third day (1 Corinthians 15:3-4). Let them know beyond doubt that their hope, their strength, and their deliverance are found in *Him alone*.
Father, we thank You that You are faithful, and You will not allow them to be tempted beyond what they can bear (1 Corinthians 10:13). Strengthen them, Lord, and let this season of attack become a testimony of Your power and grace. In the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior, we pray—*Amen.*
Stand firm, dear one. The battle is the Lord’s, and He has already won the war. Keep your eyes fixed on Jesus, immerse yourself in His Word, and pray without ceasing. We are standing with you, and the hosts of heaven are fighting on your behalf. You *will* overcome by the blood of the Lamb and the word of your testimony (Revelation 12:11). Be encouraged—your breakthrough is coming!
