Disciple of Prayer
Asking for prayers for protection. I’ve been feeling attacked spiritually like someone is trying to put witchcraft or speaking negatively about me. Also feeling attacked in my dreams. Please keep me in your prayers. Thank you

We stand with you in this spiritual battle, for we know that our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the principalities, against the powers, against the world’s rulers of the darkness of this age, and against the spiritual forces of wickedness in the heavenly places (Ephesians 6:12, WEB). The enemy seeks to steal, kill, and destroy (John 10:10), but we serve a God who is greater, and His power within us is far stronger than any scheme of darkness. You are not alone in this fight, and we are lifting you up in prayer, trusting in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, through whom all authority in heaven and on earth has been given (Matthew 28:18).

It is critical to recognize that spiritual attacks often come when we are walking closely with the Lord or when the enemy senses an opportunity to create fear, doubt, or confusion. The fact that you are feeling these attacks—whether through witchcraft, negative words spoken against you, or disturbances in your dreams—means the enemy is already threatened by your faith. But take heart, for "greater is he who is in you than he who is in the world" (1 John 4:4, WEB). The Lord has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and sound judgment (2 Timothy 1:7). We must resist the devil, and he will flee from us (James 4:7). This resistance begins with putting on the full armor of God daily: the belt of truth, the breastplate of righteousness, the shoes of the Good News of peace, the shield of faith, the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God (Ephesians 6:13-17). Are you spending time in the Word and in prayer? Are you guarding your heart and mind with the truth of Scripture? These are your weapons, and they are mighty through God.

We also urge you to examine your life for any areas where the enemy might have a foothold. Is there unconfessed sin, bitterness, unforgiveness, or involvement in anything that does not honor God? The Bible tells us not to give the devil any opportunity (Ephesians 4:27). If there is anything in your life that is not aligned with God’s will, repent and turn away from it, for repentance breaks the enemy’s grip. Additionally, be mindful of what you are allowing into your mind and spirit—through media, conversations, or even the company you keep. "Don’t be unequally yoked with unbelievers, for what fellowship have righteousness and iniquity? Or what communion has light with darkness?" (2 Corinthians 6:14, WEB). Surround yourself with believers who will lift you up and hold you accountable.

As for the attacks in your dreams, we encourage you to take authority over them in the name of Jesus. Before you sleep, pray for God’s protection over your mind and ask Him to fill your dreams with His peace and truth. The psalmist declares, "I lay down and slept. I woke up; for Yahweh sustains me" (Psalm 3:5, WEB). You can also declare Scripture over yourself, such as Psalm 91, which reminds us that those who dwell in the shelter of the Most High will rest in the shadow of the Almighty. His faithfulness is your shield and rampart. You need not fear the terror by night, nor the arrow that flies by day (Psalm 91:4-5). If you wake from a disturbing dream, immediately pray and rebuke the enemy’s influence, asking the Holy Spirit to fill you with His peace and to reveal any truth He wants you to know.

Finally, we notice that your request did not invoke the name of Jesus Christ, and we want to gently but firmly remind you that there is no other name under heaven by which we must be saved, and it is only through His name that we have access to the Father (Acts 4:12, John 14:6). Jesus Himself said, "Most certainly I tell you, whatever you may ask of the Father in my name, he will give it to you. Until now, you have asked nothing in my name. Ask, and you will receive, that your joy may be made full" (John 16:23-24, WEB). When we pray, we must come boldly before the throne of grace in Jesus’ name, for He is our mediator and our advocate. If you have not already, we urge you to place your full trust in Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior. Confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, and you will be saved (Romans 10:9). There is power in His name, and it is the name above all names (Philippians 2:9-10).

Now, let us pray for you:

Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty and matchless name of Jesus Christ, lifting up our brother/sister who is under spiritual attack. Lord, You are a God of justice, power, and love, and we ask that You surround them with Your divine protection. Let no weapon formed against them prosper, and let every tongue that rises against them in judgment be condemned (Isaiah 54:17). We rebuke every spirit of witchcraft, every curse, every negative word spoken against them, and every scheme of the enemy to bring fear, confusion, or harm. Father, we ask that You expose every hidden darkness and render the enemy powerless in their life. Fill them with Your Holy Spirit, and let Your peace, which surpasses all understanding, guard their heart and mind in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7).

We pray specifically for their dreams, Lord. May You take authority over their sleep and fill their mind with Your truth and Your presence. Let them dream of Your goodness, Your promises, and Your victory. Remove all nightmares and disturbances, and let them wake refreshed and strengthened in You. We declare that no evil shall befall them, nor shall any plague come near their dwelling (Psalm 91:10). Cover them with Your feathers, Lord, and let them find refuge under Your wings (Psalm 91:4).

Father, we also ask that You reveal to them any area of their life that needs repentance or surrender. Give them the courage to turn away from anything that does not honor You and to walk in full obedience to Your Word. Strengthen their faith, Lord, and remind them that they are more than conquerors through Christ who loves them (Romans 8:37). Let them stand firm in Your truth, clothed in Your armor, and unwavering in their trust in You.

We thank You, Lord, for Your faithfulness and Your promise to never leave them nor forsake them (Deuteronomy 31:6). We ask all these things in the powerful name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior, who has already won the victory. Amen.

Stand firm in your faith, dear one. The Lord is with you, and He will never let you be shaken. Keep your eyes fixed on Jesus, the author and perfecter of your faith (Hebrews 12:2), and trust that He is fighting for you even now. Let us know how we can continue to pray for you and encourage you in this season. You are not alone—we are standing with you in the name of Jesus!

We're here with you, dear friend, and we're not leaving your side. We've been praying for you, and we want you to know that God is too. He sees you, and He's fighting for you.

We've been thinking about how important it is to stay close to God during times like these. Have you been spending time in His Word and in prayer? It's in those moments that we find our strength and our peace. We encourage you to keep digging into His truth, and to let it guard your heart and mind.

We also want to remind you that God has given us authority in His name. So, let's take a stand together. When you feel those attacks coming, let's speak out loud and declare that Jesus is Lord over your life. Let's claim His promises, like in Psalm 91, and trust that He's got you covered.

And remember, you're not alone in this. We're here, and so is the entire body of Christ. Let's lift each other up, encourage one another, and hold each other accountable.

Keep fighting the good fight, dear one. We're believing with you for victory in Jesus' name.

I prayed that God in Jesus' name will answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. Thank You Jesus!!!
