Beloved of All
Please could you pray for my ###. He is going through another severe mental health crisis. He has what we call “attacks in his head” — moments of deep confusion and agitation where he becomes overwhelmed by thoughts that don’t make sense to us. Right now, he is planning things that are very concerning — like selling our family apartment and trying to move abroad using my ###’s money, which is limited and needed for her care. My ### is exhausted and frightened, but still refuses to hospitalise him or take stronger action, even though she’s struggling to cope. We feel very stuck and helpless. Please pray for peace over his mind, clarity and calm to come into his thoughts, and for protection over my ###. We desperately need wisdom and spiritual covering — it’s a very heavy situation, and I know that only God can truly intervene where human help feels out of reach. Jesus Christ, please heal his mental issues. Thank you so much for keeping us in your prayers.

We lift up this heavy burden before the Lord, knowing that He is the God of all comfort and the Prince of Peace who can calm even the fiercest storms in the mind. The enemy seeks to steal, kill, and destroy, but Jesus came to give life abundantly (John 10:10). This situation is deeply concerning, and we recognize the spiritual warfare at play here—confusion, impulsive decisions, and fear are not from God, for "God is not the author of confusion, but of peace" (1 Corinthians 14:33, WEB).

First, we praise you for acknowledging the name of Jesus Christ in your request, for it is only through Him that we can approach the throne of grace with confidence (Hebrews 4:16). There is no other name under heaven by which we must be saved (Acts 4:12), and it is in His mighty name that we stand against the schemes of the enemy.

We are deeply troubled by the mention of decisions being made that could bring financial and emotional harm to your family, particularly to the vulnerable. Scripture warns us that a house divided against itself cannot stand (Mark 3:25), and we see the urgency here for unity, wisdom, and protection. The desire to move abroad or make drastic financial changes in this state of mental distress is not grounded in sound judgment, and we must pray fervently for God’s intervention to prevent harm. Proverbs 3:5-6 reminds us, "Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and don’t lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight."

To the one suffering from these "attacks in his head," we declare the truth of 2 Timothy 1:7: "For God didn’t give us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and self-control." The confusion and agitation you describe are not from the Lord. We rebuke these attacks in the name of Jesus and command peace to reign in this mind, for Christ has already overcome the powers of darkness (Colossians 2:15). We pray for supernatural clarity to replace the chaos, and for the Holy Spirit to fill every space where the enemy has sought to bring torment. May the Lord remind him of Psalm 34:18: "Yahweh is near to those who have a broken heart, and saves those who have a crushed spirit."

To the family members who are exhausted and frightened, we urge you to seek godly counsel and wisdom without delay. While we understand the reluctance to hospitalize, there are times when professional and medical intervention is necessary to bring stability and safety. This is not a lack of faith but an act of stewardship over the life God has entrusted to you. Proverbs 11:14 says, "Where there is no wise guidance, the nation falls, but in the multitude of counselors there is victory." Do not hesitate to reach out to trusted believers, pastors, or medical professionals who can provide support and direction. You are not meant to carry this alone.

We also sense a need to address the financial vulnerability mentioned. Scripture is clear that we are to provide for our households (1 Timothy 5:8) and act with integrity in all things. Any decision made in confusion or haste—especially one that could jeopardize the care of another—must be brought before the Lord for discernment. We pray for divine protection over the resources needed for care, and for the Lord to expose any plan of the enemy to bring further hardship.

Finally, we encourage you to stand firm in prayer and in the authority given to you as believers. Ephesians 6:12 reminds us that our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against spiritual forces. Put on the full armor of God (Ephesians 6:10-18), and do not grow weary in praying. Gather with other believers to intercede, for where two or three are gathered in Jesus’ name, He is in the midst of them (Matthew 18:20).

Let us pray together:

Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, lifting up this family in their time of deep distress. Lord, You see the turmoil in this mind, the fear in these hearts, and the confusion that seeks to destroy. We ask You to intervene with Your peace that surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:7). Rebuke every spirit of confusion, agitation, and impulsivity that is not from You. Fill this man with Your Holy Spirit, Lord, and let Your truth be the anchor for his thoughts.

We pray for divine wisdom for the family—give them clarity on the steps they must take to ensure safety and stability. Surround them with Your angels, Lord, and let no weapon formed against them prosper (Isaiah 54:17). Protect their finances and provide for their every need, for You are Jehovah Jireh, our Provider.

Father, we ask for healing—spiritually, mentally, and emotionally. Touch this man’s mind, Lord, and restore him to soundness. Let him know that he is not abandoned, but deeply loved by You. Break every chain of the enemy that seeks to bind him, and let Your light shine into every dark place.

We also lift up the weary hearts of this family. Renew their strength, Lord, and let them feel Your presence in a tangible way. Remind them that You are their refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble (Psalm 46:1).

In the name of Jesus Christ, we command peace to this storm. Let Your will be done, Lord, and let Your glory be revealed in this situation. We trust You, Father, and we thank You in advance for Your faithfulness.

In Jesus’ mighty and holy name, we pray. Amen.

We're standing with you in this trial, dear friend. It's like a storm is raging in your loved one's mind, and it's exhausting and frightening for all of you. We're here to lift this burden together.

First, let's claim the promise in Philippians 4:7, "And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus." We're asking God to fill your loved one's mind with this supernatural peace. Let's pray for clarity to replace the chaos, and for the Holy Spirit to fill every space where the enemy has sought to bring torment.

We're also asking God to give you, as a family, the wisdom to know when and how to seek professional help. It's not a sign of weakness, but a responsible act of love. Remember, "A house divided against itself cannot stand" (Mark 3:25). You need unity, wisdom, and protection in this situation.

Let's not forget the financial vulnerability mentioned. We're praying for God's protection over the resources needed for care. We're asking God to expose any plan of the enemy to bring further hardship.

Lastly, let's stand firm in prayer. Ephesians 6:12 reminds us that our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against spiritual forces. So, let's put on the full armor of God and not grow weary in praying.

Let's pray together:

"Dear Lord, we come to You in Jesus' name, lifting up this family in their time of distress. Lord, You see the turmoil in this mind, the fear in these hearts, and the confusion that seeks to destroy.
