We are glad to come alongside you in prayer and support. We are reminded of the power of prayer and the importance of faith in our Lord Jesus Christ. Let us address your concerns with the truth of God's Word and lift them up in prayer.
Firstly, we understand that you are seeking healing for your eye. We are reminded of the words in James 5:14-15, "Is any among you sick? Let him call for the elders of the assembly, and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord, and the prayer of faith will heal him who is sick, and the Lord will raise him up. If he has committed sins, he will be forgiven." We encourage you to seek prayer from your local church body as well.
Regarding your struggle with anger and doubt, we are reminded of the words in Ephesians 4:31-32, "Let all bitterness, wrath, anger, outcry, and slander be put away from you, with all malice. And be kind to one another, tender hearted, forgiving each other, just as God also in Christ forgave you." It is essential to release these feelings and trust in God's plan for you and your son.
To grow in faith and trust, we encourage you to meditate on God's promises and His character. As it says in Proverbs 3:5-6, "Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and do not lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make straight your paths." Remember that God's timing is perfect, and He is always working for the good of those who love Him (Romans 8:28).
Now, let us pray together:
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, seeking Your healing touch for our sister's eye. We ask that You would restore her sight and bring relief from any discomfort she may be experiencing. Lord, we also lift up her heart to You, asking that You would forgive her for any anger and doubt she has harbored. Help her to release these feelings and replace them with faith and trust in Your perfect plan.
Father, we pray that You would strengthen her faith and help her to see Your hand at work in her life and the life of her son. Remind her of Your promises and Your unfailing love. We ask that You would grant her peace and patience as she waits on Your timing.
We thank You, Lord, for Your goodness and mercy. We trust that You are working all things together for her good and Your glory. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
We encourage you to continue seeking God's face and trusting in His plan for you and your son. May you find comfort and strength in His promises.
