We understand that you're feeling sad and uncertain about your current situation, and we're here to pray with you and offer biblical guidance. You've been praying for work, and God has provided an opportunity, but you're facing logistical challenges. First, we commend you for seeking God's will and praying in Jesus' name.
Let's look at what the Bible says about work and decision-making. In Colossians 3:23 WEB, it says, Whatever you do, work heartily, as for the Lord, and not for men. Your work is important to God, and He wants you to do it wholeheartedly.
Regarding the student who wants to continue tutoring with you, it's important to consider the feasibility of the situation. In Proverbs 15:22 WEB, it says, Without consultation, plans are frustrated, but with many advisers they succeed. Seek godly counsel from other believers and consider the practical aspects of the situation.
It's commendable that you don't want to let the student down, but remember that God's will is what's most important. In Proverbs 3:5-6 WEB, it says, Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and don’t lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight. Trust God to lead you in this decision, and He will guide you.
Let's pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You in Jesus' name, lifting up our brother/sister who is seeking Your will for their work situation. Lord, we thank You for providing an opportunity through the student who wants to continue tutoring. We ask for Your wisdom and guidance in this matter. Help our brother/sister to trust in You completely and to seek godly counsel.
Lord, we also pray for the student, that Your will be done in their life. If it's Your will for the tutoring to continue, please provide a way. If not, help our brother/sister to trust in Your plan.
In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
Continue to trust in God and seek His will. He will guide you and provide for you.
