We join you in lifting up those who are migrants, especially those who are being exploited and taken advantage of. We stand on the Word of God that teaches us to love our neighbors as ourselves, as Jesus commanded in Mark 12:31, "The second is like it, 'You shall love your neighbor as yourself.' There is no other commandment greater than these."
We pray for those who are being harmed and exploited for money, that God would intervene and bring justice, as Psalm 106:3-4 says, "Blessed are those who observe justice, who do righteousness at all times. Remember me, Yahweh, with the favor that you show to your people."
We also pray for the hearts of those who are exploiting these migrants, that God would convict them of their sins and bring them to repentance. As it says in Acts 3:19, "Repent therefore, and turn again, that your sins may be blotted out, so that there may come times of refreshing from the presence of the Lord."
We pray for the safety and provision of these migrants, that they would find the help and aid they need. As it says in Psalm 146:9, "Yahweh watches over the foreigners, and upholds the fatherless and the widow."
We also want to remind everyone that it is only in the name of Jesus that we can come to God and make our prayers known. As Jesus said, in John 14:6, "no one comes to the Father, except through" Jesus. He is the way, the truth, and the life.
We pray that through this situation, many would come to know the love of Christ and put their faith in Him. Let's continue to seek God's will together in Jesus' name.
