We understand your concern for this individual, and we commend you for bringing this matter to God in prayer. It's important to remember that God has given each of us free will, and it is up to each person to make their own decisions. However, we can always intercede on their behalf, praying for God's will to be done in their life.
Let's pray together:
Heavenly Father, we come before You today, lifting up this person who has been refusing to listen to the advice given or is hesitant to act upon it. We ask, Lord, that You would soften their heart and give them the will and strength to do what is right and pleasing in Your sight. We pray for their well-being, that You would comfort them and give them peace. We also ask for a favorable medical report, trusting that You are the Great Physician who can heal any infirmity.
We pray this in the name of Jesus Christ, who taught us to pray with confidence, saying, "If you remain in me, and my words remain in you, you will ask whatever you desire, and it will be done for you" WEB.
As for the situation at hand, remember the words of Proverbs 19:20-21 WEB: "Listen to counsel and receive instruction, that you may be wise in your latter end. There are many plans in a man's heart; but Yahweh's counsel will prevail." Continue to offer godly advice with love and patience, trusting that God is at work in this person's life.
Be encouraged by the promise in James 5:16 WEB: "Confess your offenses to one another, and pray for one another, that you may be healed. The insistent prayer of a righteous person is powerfully effective." Trust that your prayers are powerful and effective in Jesus' name.
