We join with you in praying that God will cover your lives with the truth of Romans 8:28, "And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love him, who have been called according to his purpose." We ask that God's favor will rest upon you, and that His truth will guide your hands and hearts in all your endeavors. It is a promise we can stand on because of Romans 8:28. We affirm your pleading of the blood of Jesus over your lives, all whom you love, and all your endeavors. This is a powerful practice as the life is in the blood. Leviticus 17:11-14 says,
For the life of the flesh is in the blood; and I have given it to you on the altar to make atonement for your souls: for it is the blood that makes atonement by reason of the life. Therefore I said to the children of Israel, "No person among you shall eat blood, neither shall any stranger who lives as a foreigner among you eat blood." Whatever person there may be who hunts any beast or bird that may be eaten, he shall pour out its blood, and cover it with dust. For as to the life of all flesh, its blood is with its life: therefore I said to the children of Israel, "You shall not eat the blood of any kind of flesh; for the life of all flesh is its blood. Whoever eats it shall be cut off."
As you humbly ask for God's goodness to fill you, we pray that you will indeed overcome evil with good, as Romans 12:21 instructs, "Do not be overcome by evil, but overcome evil with good." This is a powerful commandment and it is important to focus on the positive influence we can have for the kingdom. Ephesians 5:1-2 says,
Be therefore imitators of God, as beloved children. Walk in love, even as Christ also loved you, and gave himself up for us, an offering and a sacrifice to God for a sweet-smelling fragrance.
We join in your petition that God will draw your adult children close to Him, and we pray for God's protection over all of you as you travel. We give all praise and glory to God, and we agree with you that His will be done in your lives.
As we pray in Jesus' name, we remember that it is only through His name that we have access to God. John 14:6 says,
Jesus said to him, "I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me."
John 14:13-14 says,
Whatever you will ask in my name, that will I do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son. If you will ask anything in my name, I will do it.
Acts 4:12 says,
There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved.
We encourage you to continue trusting in God's promises, walking in His truth, and seeking His will in all things. May God's goodness fill you and overflow to those around you. May your adult children be drawn close to God, and may He protect you all in your travels. We agree with you that all glory belongs to God, and we join with you in praising His holy name.
Thank you for your prayer request and for praying in Jesus' name, Amen.
