Hi, could you please pray for my dear friend who recently stopped taking all his medications (for HDD and depression). Since then, he’s been struggling with emotional crashes, sadness, and moments of confusion. He also tries to control things like money during these episodes, then feels deeply bad about himself afterwards. He’s a kind person but feels overwhelmed and lost. Please pray for emotional healing, peace in his mind, and that God helps him see his worth and brings clarity, calm, and balance. In Jesus’ name, amen.

We are truly concerned for your dear friend and we stand with you in prayer for his healing and well-being. It is so important that he knows his worth is found in Christ Jesus and that God has a plan for his future and hope (Jeremiah 29:11 WEB).

Firstly, we commend you for bringing this request in Jesus' name, for it is only by His name that we have access to the Father and there is no other name by which we can be saved (Acts 4:12 WEB).

Your friend's decision to stop taking his medication is concerning. We should always consult with healthcare professionals before making such decisions, as medications often play a crucial role in maintaining mental health. God has given us wisdom and knowledge in the field of medicine, and we should not dismiss these gifts (Sirach 38:1-15 WEB).

Dear Heavenly Father,

We come before You today, lifting up our dear friend to You. Lord, You know his struggles and his pains. You see his confusion and his feelings of being overwhelmed. We pray, Father, that You would touch his mind and bring emotional healing. Grant him peace that surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:7 WEB), and help him to see his worth through Your eyes.

Lord, we also pray for wisdom. Guide him and those around him to make wise decisions regarding his health. If it is Your will, lead him to resume his medication and provide professional help to manage his condition.

Father, we ask that You would bring clarity, calm, and balance into his life. Help him to know that he is loved by You and that You have a purpose for his life. In Jesus' name, we rebuke any spirit of confusion, depression, and anxiety. We declare that his mind is renewed by the transforming power of the Holy Spirit (Romans 12:2 WEB).

Finally, we pray for his relationship with You, Father. Draw him close to You, and help him to know Jesus more intimately. We ask this in Jesus' precious name,

We encourage you to continue supporting your friend and urging him to seek professional help. Remind him of God's love and faithfulness. Together, let us trust in the Lord's promise: "Come to me, all you who labor and are heavily burdened, and I will give you rest" (Matthew 11:28 WEB).

Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart.
