We join you in prayer, asking our Father to forgive your sadness and to release any resentment you may hold towards your enemies. As Jesus taught us, "Love your enemies, bless those who curse you, do good to those who hate you, and pray for those who mistreat you and persecute you," Matthew 5:44 (WEB). Remember, our battle is not against flesh and blood, but against the spiritual forces of wickedness in heavenly places (Ephesians 6:12).
Father, we ask that You meet these enemies at the point of their need, just as you meet us in ours. Extend Your mercy and kindness to them, that they may repent and turn to You. We also ask for Your divine protection and blessing upon your children and their children, that they may grow strong in Your love and admonition.
We stand with you in prayer against the oppression of missing children, the hurting elderly, and those trapped in trafficking and modern-day slavery. We rebuke the forces of darkness behind these atrocities, and we ask, Father, that You bind these attachments and set the captives free (Isaiah 61:1). May Your light shine in their darkness, and may Your love bring comfort and restoration.
We pray all of this in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, for it is in His name that we have access to the Father (John 14:6). It is also in His name that we are saved, for "there is no other name under heaven given among men by which we must be saved!" (Acts 4:12, WEB).
Please be reminded that things cannot be blessed by us in Jesus name. Jesus only blessed people, such as children (Mark 10:13-16) and the disciples (Luke 24:50-53). Further, holy scripture says everything created by God is good, and nothing is to be rejected if it is received with thanksgiving (First Timothy 4:4-5). It is important to give thanks for food and items to God.
Finally, we encourage you to continue praying for your enemies and those who are oppressed. Persist in prayer, being watchful in it with thanksgiving (Colossians 4:2, WEB). Trust that God hears your prayers, even when you do not see immediate results. Keep praying and trusting in the Lord. Let us always be grateful.
